Warren: I remember that party. And I don't usually even remember parties the morning after.

Missy: Of course I remember it.

Warren: I don't think I ever got that vest back.

There were lots of confused faces as Warren and Missy arrived together, both giggling like middle school girls. Already higher than the clouds, Missy ran to find Karen, who was dancing with Camila and Eddie. She, holding a beer, engulfed her surprised sister in a messy hug. Karen was glad to see her enjoying herself, but concerned when she saw Warren trailing behind her in the same drugged state. She knew Missy was going to take them, but would he be bad influence on her. She sent him a looked, with both eyebrows raised. He just furrowed his own and shrugged.

"What?"

Missy's night was a mess of liquor, cocaine and MDMA. Her hair was big and everywhere.

She found a boy her age sitting by the edge of the pool, leaning against a tree. She sat down beside him and leant her head back. A sense of calm took over her molly filled system as she took a puff of the joint he passed her.

They didn't say a word. They didn't need to, they were both in the same position. His eyes were bloodshot, and her pupils were larger than ever before. The scars engraved in her right forearm looked very similar to the ones on his left. Her scarred knuckles were encased by his shaking hands as she threw her leg over his and he grabbed her waist. Her vision was blurry. They pressed their lips together. She dug her hands through his hair as he slid up her shirt. The once quiet corner of the party became loud with the moans and whispers of the two. They refused to pull away, unbuttoning and unzipping. "What's your name?" he asked. She felt his hot breath on her neck.

"Missy. Yours?"

"Joel." Joel and Missy knew exactly how to be with each other, as if they'd met before. When they finished, she draped her arms around his neck and rested her head on his shoulders.

Her eyes began to work again and she pulled herself up, and his thumb traced her cheek bones. She examined his freckles, and his deep green eyes. They were dark, but vibrant. His hair was messy, probably the result of her tugging. She got off of him, only to lay back down. He played with her hair, twirling it around his fingers, making sure not to tangle it in his jewellery, as she looked up at him, she couldn't help but wonder if he liked the way she looked as much as she liked the way he did. They talked until the music became slow and quiet. Missy told him all about her plans for the future. And he told her about his band.

Warren and Karen had searched the entire house for Missy, every bedroom and every bathroom, so they moved outside. "I'm leaving man, if you wanna come, I've got a ride." Eddie called to Warren, but he just waved him off, following Karen.

Karen: I just remember thinking, God, I'm going to kill her. But I was truly worried about her, she couldn't regulate her emotions like most people. She was a loose cannon. I didn't know what to expect.
