"Are you...okay?"

"No, I'm sad."

"Why? Can I help?"

"Honestly I don't think you can."

Seungmin entered the study room in the residence hall to find Jeongin already there.

He sat down next to him.

"You can talk to me. I'm here to listen.", Seungmin said.

"I don't want to bore you with my pitiful life story."

Jeongin's eyes began to tear up.

"Hey, hey don't cry. Uh...let me get you a paper towel."

Seungmin got up, going to find paper towels. He came back with one, wiping Jeongin's face for him.

"Thank you.", Jeongin replied.

"You're welcome, Jeongin."

Jeongin sat up in his seat, fixing his hair.

"Do you want to talk about it?", Seungmin asked.

Jeongin turned to him. He took a deep sigh before speaking.

"It's my fault. The accident."

"Jeongin I doubt it was."

"But it's true. I distracted dad...if he wasn't paying attention to me...he could have seen the truck...he could have-"

Suddenly, Jeongin burst out crying, covering his eyes with his hands.

Seungmin automatically hugged him.

"Hey, listen to me. Jeongin it's not your fault."

"It is! It is!"

Jeongin held onto Seungmin, putting his arms tightly around the other boys waist.

"No one could have seen something like that coming. No one ever expects it."

The younger was practically shaking as he held onto Seungmin.

"But you can't blame yourself. Accidents happen all the time, and they are that way because life is unpredictable."

"But why did life have to take them away?"

Seungmin looked at Jeongin, whose eyes made contact with his.

"I don't know. I truly don't know."

Jeongin pouted, leaning back on Seungmin.

After a few minutes of silence, Seungmin noticed Jeongin playing with the sleeve of his shirt.

"Jeongin?", Seungmin asked, "Are you okay now?"
