"Lilith! Open the door!" Mom screamed, so I immediately opened the door to my room.
When she entered, she immediately locked the door.
"Many guests will come later because it's your sister's birthday. You will get your food later downstairs because Manang Jen is busy preparing it. After you get the food, go up to your room right away. Is that clear?"
I just nodded in agreement.
"And by the way, before twelve o'clock, you should be tied. Don't forget it."
I locked the door after Mom left. I moved my gaze to the chains scattered across the floor.
When am I going to be normal?
I went right away to the window, but the kids who had been playing earlier had left. Perhaps they were sent home because it was late.

I continued walking, but suddenly someone blocked my path, so I bumped into his side.

I looked at the young man I bumped into. He held my arm, which I immediately took back and went up. When I entered my room, I immediately locked it.
I almost messed up! Fortunately, they were busy watching my sister while dancing.
I sat at my small table. I opened the backpack that Manang gave me. A lot of raw meat and animal blood. After I finished eating, I cleaned my hand by licking it.

I climbed into bed after picking up the chain that was lying around on the floor. Now that Mom wasn't there to help me, it was difficult for me to tie myself up.
