This day couldn't have gotten any better

Once the car stopped in front of my house I clicked open the door and bolted out of the car.
As soon as my foot stepped on the first step, I turned around to see Jack standing in front of me.
I almost fell from shock but strong arms rapped around my arms, I spun around and tried to catch my breathe.
"Jesus dude when did you get over here so fast! Are you a freakin' vampire or something like that!?" I hysterically laughed.
"Uh no I just hopped out the car and ran over here." he said in a "duh" tone.
I started untangling myself from him and started going back up the stairs.
I turned around to find him still standing there looking at me.
"Uh did you want to come in or did you forget how to move your feet?" I asked in a mocking tone.
"Oh yeah I thought you would never have asked." he said with his famous smirk present on his face.
This day couldn't have gotten any better.
