The village head's sons, ger and daughter got up very early... as early as the first light, they each carried a basket filled with foodstuffs and marched to YanZhi's house. YanZhi felt their presence but chose to ignore them making them stand behind the door for a while as a way of testing them...

" Xiong Gong shouldn't we answer the door for them? those are the village head's children, wouldn't the village head find this disrespectful if we keep his children waiting while they're on an errand for him? " Xiao Ling walked out of the kitchen along with Yue with their simple yet delicious breakfast asking YanZhi in a very blunt tone. Since they decided to stay in big stone village for a long time, it wouldn't be good for them if they are not on good terms with the village head.

" they're here for themselves not the village head... just ignore them for now, they won't leave " YanZhi replied nonchalantly with a smile

" Yes master " Yue cupped her hands in respect before walking to open the door. " master Yan.... please permit us to worship you as our master " Lu Lixin pleaded... when his siblings saw what he did they also hurriedly walked over and kowtowed

" master Yan... please permit us to worship you as our master " the rest said in unison but YanZhi wasn't in a hurry to respond as his attention was on his bewildered wife.

" ..... this? " Xiao Ling couldn't find his words as he pointed to them but YanZhi still understood what he wanted to say and nodded to him confirming his thoughts. YanZhi kept staring at them calmly drumming his fingers on the table as if in deep thought.... but he was just concentrating on his wife watching Xiao Ling go in and out of the room doing his own thing, Yue stood still looking between YanZhi and the people who kowtowed in front of him feeling bad for them... her colleagues and her didn't have this hard time, infact they didn't know anything back then, it was the three years old YanZhi who approached them and took them under his wings... they were just happy to meet their fellow species who was different from them, it was when YanZhi was five years before he took them on the path of cultivation so seeing how hard it is to worship a master she was thankful for their luck.
