Sitting at the entrance of the slide, you turned your head up to the blond boy that was demanding you to move. He loomed over you with a grumpy stare, his eyes staring dead into yours with an annoyed look. He didn't know it, but he was making your day worse.
You had come to the park to escape your father, but now you had to deal with a rude kid that was just about your age.
The boy stared at you, his light brown eyes expecting you to move immediately. After a couple of moments, you moved away from the top of the slide. You didn't like this boy, you immediately declared to yourself. With your frown still present on your face, you watched as he slid down the green slide.
After he went down, you thought you wouldn't see him again. You crawled back to the top of the slide and sat there as you watched the other kids play with their friends. You wondered where your brother was, but you knew he was probably reading something in his bedroom.
You thought you'd get a bit more time for yourself when the same blond boy approached you. To save yourself time, you were prepared to get out of his way when he asked you something you weren't expecting. Your nose scrunched up at his suggestion.
"Hey... want to play hide and seek with me?"
