New Friends

Sun was out for repairs because he decided it would be a good idea to eat a pizza made of glitter glue and stickers. It was a Sunday so the daycare was closed and Moon was playing Uno with Y/N.

"How are you so good!?" Moon yelled as he threw his cards on the table. Y/N smirked as her last card was placed.

"Might be the fact that I read all of the rules" Y/N teased as she put all the cards back in the box. Moon rolled his eyes and walked over to a small cubbyhole. He looked around and pulled out two board games.

"What else do you wanna play? We have Monopoly and-" Moon was cut off by a knock coming from the daycare entrance. The two felines rushed to the door, hoping that Sun was back from repairs. Moon opened the door.

"Sunny!" Y/N yelled happily. Y/N and Moon were immediately tackled to the ground by Sun. He hugged his lovers as his tail wagged behind him.

"We have new friends," Sun said excitedly. He got up and called out to someone. Two animatronics walked in. One looked similar to Sun but he had darker tones and extra rays. The other was a purple and cream-colored cat, they had purple and green eyes, a spiked collar, a blue band on their right leg, and a black swimsuit-like outfit with a pink stripe on it.

(Lol, yes I put myself in the story)

Moon held out a paw to the dog for a handshake, which he gladly accepted. "I'm Moon, you are?" "Eclipse," He said, in a rather deep, glitched voice. "Well, Eclipse, I'm sure you already know Sun and that is....Y/N, what are you doing?" Moon looked at his partner who was staring daggers into the other cat's eyes. The two hissed at each other, and Y/N pounced on the other cat as they both started to fight. Eclipse, Sun, and Moon all stared at the two, watching everything go down.

"Did I forget to mention that Y/N is a bit territorial towards other unknown cats?" Sun asked nervously, Eclipse and Moon both turned to look at Sun disapprovingly before running to break up the two felines. Moon held Y/N back and Eclipse held the other one back.

"Y/N, calm down!" Moon yelled as he struggled to hold her back. Y/N was covered in scratches and dust. The cat Eclipse was holding was covered in bruises because they were slammed onto the ground and against the security desk. Eclipse pet the cat and they calmed down, falling asleep shortly after. Moon noticed this and did the same to Y/N, the action having the same effect.

"Sorry about that, this is Cross." Eclipse laid the feline down on a nearby beanbag. "It's fine, Y/N kinda started it anyway" Moon chuckled as he laid Y/N in a pillow pile. Sun walked over with a first aid kit in hand.

"I completely forgot she's so territorial with other cats," Sun mumbled as took out a few bandages and some alcohol wipes. "I'll tend to Cross," Eclipse said sternly, reaching a paw out for some supplies.
Sun handed him a few bandages and turned to treat Y/N, first disinfecting her wounds before bandaging them.

(Y/N Pov)

I woke up to sharp pains all over my body and the feeling of a hand on my head. I looked up to see Sun, petting me while I was laying on Moon's lap. Across from us was the two new animatronics, I don't remember getting their names.

The other cat woke up as well. They yawned and looked around. "Eclipse," they said sleepily. So his name is Eclipse, that's one down at least.

"Hmm?" He hummed in response. Before the cat could speak their eyes dimmed and they lay still.

"Shit. I apologize, I have to take Cross to a charging station "  Eclipse stood and stretched.

"There's one in my room, you can use that one," Sun offered, pointing up to the castle-themed balcony. Eclipse nodded and carried the feline up to the room. He returned to the other three, sitting across from them.

"What are yours and Cross' roles, do we really need that many daycare attendants?" I questioned curiously as the taller animatronic almost sank into the plush seat of the beanbag chair.

"I'm mostly a first aid bot and Cross works alongside DJ. DJ's bouncer mode malfunctioned and had to be transferred to a new animatronic"  Eclipse explained, glancing up at the balcony.

"Im also made to handle hazmat situations, and my casing is plated with tungsten," Eclipse explained, practically telling about every feature he was given. It was a pretty interesting meeting.
