Introduction (One)

Hello welcome to the intro to my story Demon Soulmates. I will be explaining somethings first so no one is confused. If you are please tell me and I will try to help you.

First - Everyone in this story has died in many different ways. They have red marks on their skin showing how they died.
Ex - Someone has two marks were their lungs meaning their lungs could have failed in some way.

Second - Everyone dies at many different ages in the living world. The age you die at doesn't matter once you meet the Gate Keeper. You get to choose what age you want to be when you're dead.
Ex - Someone dies at 56 but they see the Gate Keeper and they don't wanna be their 56 year old self instead they want to be their 26 year old self. They can also make themselves older from when you die.
Ex 2 - Someone dies at 14 but they look to what they would have looked like in the future. They could choose their 24 year old self instead.

Third - Everyone looks different when they die. Everyone can choose if they want to change their appearance but you can't make yourself look like someone else.
Ex - Someone is a big fan of BTS. *Cough* *Cough* Oil London. If you tried looking like someone else in your living life you immediately change back to your old self. You can change anything on yourself. Yes even private parts but the Gate Keeper doesn't tell them that.

Fourth - Their are demons in the land of the dead. You well know how they become demons later on in the story. All demons have wings and horns both red. Black is a very rare for both wings and horns. They are soul takers. They roam around the land of the dead to take souls. Either to eat it or just because they want to. You do keep your soul when you die. It doesn't disappear only your physical body does. You get a new body once you die you can't be killed just hurt in the land of the dead.

Fifth - All demons have spirit animals. It could be a real type of animal or a mythical one.
Ex - Someone wants to show their demon friends their spirit animal form it is a Phoenix. There are many different types of animals most of the mythical ones are the strongest.

Sixth - Soulmates do exist! Not everyone has one though. I get more in depth with it in the story. It will make more sense later on but just know that in this world they exist.

Seven - There are marks for demons and all demons have the same one. They have a mark on the back of their neck. They get it once they have fully tuned into one.
