"Ha'tchSHiew!" Jungkook sneezes for the 4th time in 10 minutes. We were in the middle of a V-Live -the first one of this tour- but Kook's had his face buried in my shoulder this entire time not saying a word.

"Bless you Kook-ah!" Jimin and the hyungs say. I can tell that they're worried about Kook.

Comments of "Bless you" "Are you okay?" and "Feel better" appear on the screen.

"Thank you," I say to ARMY, they know I'm speaking on Kook's behalf.

The V-Live continues but soon "HAShii-i-itchiew!"

We all sigh, "Bless y-"

"Heh'TISHu . . . he-hE-Heh'CHIsh, He'Tchuu, Et'chASHHhieww!!!"

"Woah Kook-ah! "Bless you!" Hoseok says worriedly, "Those didn't sound very good."

"Yes, you've been sneezing quite a lot today. Are you catching a cold?" Namjoon-hyung asks

Jungkook groans in response, I ruffle his hair gently.

"Hmm, with Jungkook-ah like this, we should probably end the V-Live," Heoseok-hyung says

"It's okay! I'll take Kook back to our room to get some medicine."

"Alright but call us if you need anything at all," Namjoon says

"Okay."

I have to half carry Jungkook back to our room -not an easy feat- as when we get inside he falls right down onto the bed, stifling another fit of sneezes into his pillow.

"Don't do that Kook, you have to sleep there. Here keep this pillowcase and then you can sleep with one of mine at night."

He nods, then, "Tae, I don't feel good."

"I know." I place my hand on his forehead again, it's warm but not too bad. "Oh, poor Bunny caught a fever. I'll be right back."

I come back with a thermometer and some cold pills. As I place the thermometer under his tongue he sneezes intensely, managing to sneeze to his lap but still blushing.

"Sorry, Tae." He mutters, the congestion in his voice makes me cringe a little.

"It's okay, let's try that again."

—-

The thermometer beeps, he has a slight fever but nothing serious.

"How about we order some tea and jook from room service. That way you can have some food in your stomach before you take medication."

He nods, pulling me closer.

I laugh, "No, Kook, I have to order the food."

He whines and points to the phone cord. I sigh

"Yes, but I have to pick up the phone and dial it first."

Kook pouts.

I order the food.

While we wait we lay next to each other on Kook's bed. It feels good, being so close and a peaceful silence (save for the occasional sniffle) fills the room.

We lay on our backs staring up at the ceiling. My arm is under Jungkook's head. Then he rolls over pressing his face into my shoulder and I turn as well so he's facing my chest.

He snuffles and I brace myself for another sneeze. "ISHI'itchu! M' sorry" he mumbles, the already soft words getting muffled. "It's okay."

"Tae . . . " He trails off

"Yes Jungkook?"

"Thank you."

"You're welcome, what for?"

"For always being here, all of you are, but you especially Hyung."

Oh, I see. He always gets emotional when he's sick. Still, this feels different. He's more in control.

"Of course Kook. What brought all this on?"

"I- I love you Tae." He stutters

"What? Of course, I love you too, you know that." I am so confused hadn't our love for each other already been acknowledged

"No, I mean . . . I'm in love with you . . . romantically." He is totally blushing red now.

I burst out laughing.

"What? Kook, I-"

He looks down, I can't help it, I keep laughing. Then I notice that he's kind of shaking.

"Jungkook? What's wrong, are you okay?" I ask, trying to get him to look at me, he won't lift his head. "Kook, look at me please, tell me what's wrong."

"I- I'm s-so s-sorry hyu-hyung." He chokes out, "J-just please forget about this."

"About what, Kookie? It's okay, everyone gets sick sometimes, the pillowcase can be washed." I reassure rushing to try and console him.

"I know you don't like me that way but y-you don't have to laugh hyung." He whimpers still crying.

Oh.

"Oh my god, Jungkook, no! That's not why I was laughing at all, okay. I would never laugh at you like that!"

"Then why?" He looks at me now, his eyes puffy and his nose runny.

"Because I thought we already knew that." He looks confused.

"Did you know all this time that I like you?" He looks betrayed

"Yes," I suppress a laugh for fear of hurting his feelings again, "I thought we already knew that we were in love with each other."

He pauses a moment, and then his jaw drops.

"You're . . . in love with me too?"

I don't bother holding back my laughter this time. "Of course, how could I not be, silly!"

And then I realise: we've never said it.

We've never said I love you, this is the first time . . . we've never kissed either

I kiss him, right on the lips. It feels good, better than good, wonderful. I don't want to stop. Jungkook's breath hitches a bit. We break apart and he sneezes again.

We both fall back onto the bed laughing.

"Why?" I ask nobody in particular. "Why are we like this?"

"I don't know," Jungkook replies. We both move at the same time, putting our lips together again-

There's a knock on the door, I almost don't answer it but then they say "Room Service!"

Ah, the food. Jungkook pouts.

"I'll be right back okay."

I get the food and put it out on the table. It looks delicious. Jungkook doesn't leave the bed, instead, he opts for more pouting and looking ridiculously cuddly.

"Come on, you need to eat so you can take medicine." He still doesn't move. "We can resume as soon as you take medicine."

This convinces him, and I laugh again.

After dinner, he takes his medicine as agreed and we pick up where we left off. Eventually, we're both too drowsy to continue but too excited to go to sleep. We drift off whispering to each other. Whatever dreams I may have tonight, this is better.
