Cmon, wake up. Wake the fuck up Butters.
I pry my eyes open to the sound of Eric's head meeting the floor.
"Ow..." I mutter, breathing heavily out of my mouth. I finally become aware of my surroundings and try to figure out what's going on, and why my nose hurts like hell.
"Buttercup?" A familiar voice, but whose?
When I look up my mouth tastes something like metal, but not quite. Then I see it. A crimson red drizzle cascading down my neck and onto my shirt. Just the sight of it made me dizzy, and I fall down, down, down until I fall asleep yet again.

Ugh. I have a massive headache and my nose stings like never before. What kind of antibacterial lotion was that? It smells disgusting.
I finally see where I am. The schools nurses office, which was a mess. Piles of bottles lay on the floor, cracked and spilled. So, that was where the putrid smell came from. Yuck.
Muffled yells came from outside the door that I didn't recognise. They weren't my parent's, that was for sure, I would've known.
A clear, cold, sentence was shouted so loud that I could hear it.
"Fucker! Who would beat up someone because it's funny?!" Followed by mumbled curses that I pushed aside. I didn't need to hear those.
Mys- no, Kenny. That was Kenny. Weird how when Mysterion talks without the deep voice they sound alike, huh?
I shuffled closer so I could hear better.
"You're one to talk. Need I remind you of that? About, what, two weeks ago? Hm, Kenny?" Eric's smug voice was always distinguishable. Oh yeah! I remember he hit my nose! But he probably has good intentions.
"I- no, thats-" Kenny stuttered, his words sounding thicker.
I slowly walk towards the door.
"Huh, Kenny? Do I?"
I could practically feel the death stare Eric was getting.
I cracked open the door a little and saw Erics smug expression turn into more of a smirk.
"Or does everybody need to know how much you love-" Kenny gave Eric a sweet kick to the stomach in response.
Eric coughed a little bit, saw me watching in confusion and stood straighter.
"Doesn't hurt." He coughed out.
Kenny began walking away. "Because you have an unfair advantage," He turned his head to glare at Eric. "Your meat shield, fatass."
"Hey! Don't fucking jew out on me!"
I stood there, unsure whether to walk in or not with all the questions buzzing around in my head. What was happening? What happened two weeks ago? Why was Kenny so mad? Why were they fighting? Who did Kenny love? Was it me?
No. That wasn't allowed to be in my head.
Why was Eric threatening Kenny? What did Eric know?
I made up my mind. Kenny needed comforting right now.
Racing after Kenny, my mind was circling and picking through questions that were appropriate but kept focusing on the obvious.
Who do you love, Kenny?
You.
Oh, no, no, nope! Butters, get your brain to work straighter. Literally straighter.
Panting, I reached Kenny and tapped him lightly on the shoulder.
His face was seething and boiling with rage. I jumped, frightened by the sight. Kenny was never like this! Whatever happened two weeks ago must've really been something.
"I- are you okay?" I mumbled, still kinda scared.
His face softens and lights up. Phew, back to normal.
"Butters, hey! I'm fine, why?" He smiles.
"I was just wondering, um..." I swallowed. Why was this so nerve-wracking? "I saw you and Eric fighting and thought I should come over. Y'know, see how you're doing." Looking back up at him, I saw the calm expression he was holding fall. Suddenly, Kenny looked terrified, like he didn't know what to do, which was strange.
"You... heard all that?" His eyes darkened.
"Not all of it. Just near the end, don't worry." I hesitate, watching him sigh with relief before I start talking again. "Kenny, what happened two weeks ago? You don't have to answer." I add quickly, seeing the face he was making.
Kenny looked troubled, as if contemplating whether he should tell me or not.
"I- Butters..." he hesitates, "It's better if you don't know."
"Oh, alright." I sigh mentally. I know that that is just as much that I'll get out of him for now.
Let's just hope he'll tell me one day.
