As she lay on Alex, Lottie felt his arms gently close, squeezing her tightly. She was now the teddy bear. Lottie smiled and kissed Alex's soft cheek. She closed her eyes and snuggled down in a more comfortable position in Alex's arms. She found her fiancé made a good pillow.
Without waking Alex, Lottie gently pushed herself up on his chest with one hand, still holding the remote control in the other. She slowly and carefully stretched herself across Alex. Moving her other hand from his chest to his arm as she did so. When she felt it was safe and she was close enough. Without letting go of Alex, she calmly and quietly reached her hand with the remote in it across the arm that was holding on to Alex and placed the control down on the table next to them.
Once the remote control for the television was safely out of harm's way. Lottie shuffled herself down until she was once again lying on Alex's chest, listening to the gentle pitter patter of his heart. She romantically slid Alex's arms closed around her again, closed her eyes and went to sleep all cosied up with Alex.
Time passed as they lay there together. Lottie felt Alex stir and wake up beneath her but she didn't awaken herself. Alex murmured something about moving them both to bed. He wrapped his princess around him like a koala bear and got quietly to his feet being as careful not to wake her as she was with him. He carried her into the bedroom, closed the door softly. Pulled the cover open on the bed and got in with Lottie still nestled in his arms. He pulled the cover over them both then lovingly kissed Lottie's eyes. She looked so vulnerable and innocent sleeping there in his arms. He knew that his chance to go out for a vape was scuppered because he didn't want to wake his sweetheart. So Alex went back to sleep himself.
