We walked towards the door and we got outside. Erica closed the door behind us and locked it. After that, she said "Well, should we head to my apartment?" I then thought: Or you come to by house because I have parents that are worried about me. And you have an apartment?! "How old are you again?" I asked. "15." she replied. "And you have an apartment?" I said while raising an eyebrow...if I had one. "My parents want me ready for the world early. I don't pay the bills but I help out. I already work at my dad's pizzeria." She said while starting to walk away from the building.

"Wait! I need to call me dad to pick us up. If you want to come to my house." I said while holding up my hand like a traffic guard stopping traffic. "You have pockets with your phone?" She asked. I looked down and saw no pants, just my stubs. "Oh yeah, my dad has my phone." I said while putting my hands behind my back and rocking back and forth. "You can use my phone." She offered. She handed me bet phone and I dialed my dad's number in. It rang for a while but my dad picked up. "Hello?" He sounded tired, he must have just woke up. "It's Hartley. It's the end of the shift. Can you pick us u-"

"Us?" He asked in a quizzical tone.

"Yes, I found her and we need a pick-up a little ways before the pizzeria" I said, and waited for my dad to respond. "Sure."
