I was getting ready to go home as my shift had finished, saying my 'see you later' to my colleagues, I made my way out the Costa's door.
I was no sooner out the door and around the corner, when I heard some girls shrilling with what sounded like excitement. I turned around only to be practically run over by a guy as he came running full blast around the corner, looking very panicked.
We collided into each other, hot chocolate flying everywhere but mostly over my white work t shirt. My air was knocked out of my lungs when he landed on top of me, practically crushing me, he managed to get his hands out to grab me, preventing me from hitting my head on the ground.
"Shit, I am so sorry, sorry!" he exclaimed scrambling up and then helping me up immediately. Looking down at my t shirt completely soaked by hot chocolate. He kept looking behind him, sweating as if he was being followed, when suddenly these screeching girls piled in around the corner. Grabbing my arm he pulled me till we managed to duck into a movie house, I didn't realise I was moving until he pulled me into a pillar, him in front of me, turning his head into the side of my face, to both his and my faces. I didn't have time to react it all happened so quickly. He held me in such a position that the girls ran right past the movie house. They didn't see us, he let out a breath once he deemed the coast was clear, still holding both my arms, he lifted his head. "I am so sorry about this, really I am, I will pay for your dry cleaning of your top" he said stepping back away from me.
I just looked up at him, he wasn't that much taller than me. "What the hell was that?" I asked looking down at my t shirt, now realising my top was now see through and he just realised that too as he followed my eyes. Crossing my arms over my chest so he couldn't get a better look.
"Damn, I am so sorry, I'm not used to having girls screaming after me like that, they came out of no where and basically ambushed me" he explained. "Here, here, take my shirt, I can't expect you to walk around like that" he said, taking his jacket off and unbuttoning his blue shirt he was wearing. I couldn't help but notice he had a great body, did he work out or something.
Shaking my head to clear the thoughts, he handed me his shirt. "Please let me get your t shirt dry cleaned" he offered, showing me where the ladies toilets were. I went in and changed out of my soaked t shirt, had no choice but to leave my lacy bra on. I put his top on, he used a very nice deodorant. His shirt was big on me, but it was comfortable. Leaving the ladies, he was sitting waiting for me on the chairs just outside the ladies toilets, his jacket zipped up only halfway.
"I'm really sorry about all of this, my name is Archie" he said holding out his hand to take my t shirt, but I just shoved it into my bag, ignoring his hand. "It's fine, you don't need to worry about cleaning it, I have plenty of white t shirts at home" I responded. "Which reminds me, I had better be off before those screaming girlfriends come back" I added, the words were no sooner out of my mouth when I heard a girl shout. "Here he is!", this gave me the opportunity to disappear into the crowd of girls, filling in the movie house lobby.
I could hear him calling after me, but I didn't want to be in the middle of all those girls screaming.
10 minutes later I finally made it back to my little apartment, opening my bag to take my t shirt out and realising that is wasn't in my bag anymore. "Damn must have dropped it on my way home, Craig is not going to be happy that I lost my name badge as well" I said to myself...
