(Third person pov)

The sound of the ocean was familiar to Izuku, most could say it even felt nostalgic, the smell of salt, the sound of the waves crashing into the rocks was just calming. Sometimes Izuku felt like he went back in time when he closed his eyes, his memories would be colorless but still carry such a wonderful feelings. He would remember his mother, her smile and the way her soft hands would patch him up when he fell, but when he opened his eyes he'd be met with his raisin hands and his sore back as a reminder that he wasted his youth on worrying. It hurt. He didn't want to live like a pet stuck in a cage, he never had legs (due to him being half seal) and the kids at school would make fun of him for it, he always came last in marathons and in recess. He suffered, he never fit in, he locked himself away and the consequences of his actions was growing old alone.

His therapist tells him not to worry, there's always new opportunities, but he always worries, he worries that there isn't enough time for him. He wished on every star, shooting star or not, he wants another opportunity, he wants his youth back.

His thoughts were quickly interrupted when he felt the salty wind surround him, he felt like he was traveling with time itself, he felt sick in a way. When he opened his eyes he was met with a different view than before. The sun was shining brighter, he felt light as a feather and fresh like a daisy. He slowly looked at his hand, they weren't vainy or hairy as they was two seconds ago, instead they were silky to the touch and slim.

His amazement was interrupted by a loud scream across the beach;

'Oh my god! Watch out there's a-a... WASP!!!' People around the beach where running splashing sand all over the place, Izuku didn't move (Well actually he couldn't really...) and when everyone left the scary wasp came towards him with a angry expression. Izuku was scared but it would take him ages to reach the water so all he could do is just sit and accept his fate.

'Hey' The wasp said, he seemed so aggressive! Izuku didn't say anything he just stared, waiting patiently.

'You...  Didn't run away.' said the wasp finally and Izuku realized what was happening, the wasp wasn't going to hurt him (he hoped) he just wanted a friend! Izuku smiled;

'No of course not... you're not scary' he said trying to comfort the wasp.

'HUUUUUH??? OH I'M NOT SCARY ENOUGH HUH???? I'LL SHOW YOU SCARY!!!!!!'

'N-no! That's not what I meant!!' He backed off quickly (Which wasn't quickly at all) The wasp looked at him angrily and let out a 'tch', it was an awkward silence but then he sat down next to the seal and avoided eye contact. Izuku was wondering if he should say something but right when he had the right words the wasp started talking;

'You know maps?' he said as he took out a old piece of paper.  'I tried following this stupid map but there isn't supposed to be a beach here.' He felt uncomfortable asking for help, especially from someone like this dork.

 Izuku took a quick look at the map and then turned it, he had had the map upside down. 'That might solve the problem' said Izuku rather proudly, but Izuku also wondered what the map was for...

'Tch! I knew that..! Thanks for nothing loser.' The wasp stood up quickly trying to walk away from the embarrassing scene.

'Hey wait... What is that map for' Izuku pointed at the map, and the wasp went quiet for a second.

'It's... The way to the witch of the Norths layer. I stole it from some loner down at one of the farms, he was so stupid he didn't even see it coming.'

'Stole it?!'

'Yeah, that loser had a family to feed, this was his most valuable belonging. Now his children wont be making it to adulthood. That'll teach the old man not to let strangers in the house. Yeaaah you could say I'm kind of a hero.'  The wasp smirked proudly showing off his map.

Izuku was in deep thoughts, he didn't really care that the wasp stole it from a poor single dad raising many kids, he was more interested  in who the witch was and why she was so important. Was it something he supported? Was it something he needed? Is it an evil witch? Can she explain why he's young again?

'What does the witch of the north do?'

'...'

'Well, she changes your animal.'

'But... why would YOU wanna change your animal! You're well respected and you have legs! That's more than me...' The last part was almost impossible to hear. The wasp turned his back on Izuku;

'I'm not well respected... I am FEARED. Wherever I go, people always run from me. I cannot remember when I had a conversation as long as this one with anyone expect my mom...' He looked sad at the mention of his mother.

Izuku thought for a second, he hated his animal as well and maybe this was his second chance he had been wishing for! He could not let his nerves get to him, he needed to meet this witch.

'Can I come with you!?' He leaned upwards (He cannot stand) 'I want to change my animal too! I want to have legs! If I had legs right now I would be standing in a confident pose.'

The wasp looked rather impressed and after a pregnant pause the wasp smirked;

'Only if you can keep up, fatty. My name is Katsuki Bakugo, better remember it nerd!'
