A/N: So I decided to write a short story for them. I was inspired. So here it is and I hope you like it! 😊💖

Samson and her on a real date. It feels way overdue. But it's nice to know he can still surprise her after all this time.
They're sitting down at a blue metal table. Fair music playing in the background.
She'd never been to one before. The aspect of greasy fried food was all too good of an idea to her. But she pushed that memory back and wanted to be in the now. The present moment of her having a fried corn dog with tons of mustard to dip it in. Later she would get a funnel cake with all the toppings. Her stomach would hate her tomorrow. But tonight...she's going to enjoy every bit of it all.
Taking a bite of her corn dog she noticed a flash in front of her.
"Hey!" She said smacking his arm lightly.
"What!? Just wanted to capture this moment." He smirked.
Every time he did that she couldn't help but melt each time. Something about his smoldering face.
Wiping her mouth with a napkin she smiled at him.
"This is by far one of the greatest dates I've ever been on. If ever."
"Well I'm glad." He said taking her hand in his and kissing it.
"So what's next?"
"Ferris wheel or rollercoaster?"
"Ha! You're kidding right? I just scoffed down two corn dogs. And I've been eyeing that funnel cake since we came in."
"Well Ferris wheel it is then."
Sitting at the top of the wheel, she felt so light and free. Looking over the city. Everything was illuminated with lights. A glowing silhouette outlining each building. The stars were out shining in the sky. This was perfect.
Everything she's ever want out of life.
A meal each night. Check. A place to live that wasn't the creepy trailer park she lived at. Lined with drug dealers and addicts.
Check. She lived in a gated secured apartment. Working on her law degree. So dream job was a bonus on her list. Check.
And looking at the man in front of her, who wasn't gazing outside for the incredible view. Instead he was looking at her. He tended to do that often. Once, she'd asked him why?
And his response was ' I love the way you look at things. It's like you're experiencing them for the very first time.' Which was true. There were a lot of things new to her. A lot of firsts too.
But the one thing that they both had in common was that they were each others first real love. And she couldn't wait to figure out life with him forever. Grabbing his hand; intertwining them. He kissed her and they stayed that way. Looking at the night view. Pondering forever and always...
