P.S Akita is about ten years old in this and Lloyd is the same age. And Akita was just nine years old when she started running from the ice emperor. But she spent a lot of time doing it.

Akita was running faster and faster, trying to get the hell away from her village, which was now completely destroyed by the Ice Emperor. She saw the Ice Emperor's dragon kill her twin brother and

She

Did

Nothing

To even try to stop them.

No............

Akita knew, that if her village was still alive, she'd be labeled as a coward by her elders and her family would support them instead of her. Why would they care about her, when all she's ever done is make everyone's lives worse.

Half the time, it was like she didn't even exist anymore...........................

'Why', you might ask, because her parents never noticed her, except for when someone did something wrong and didn't want to get in trouble for it, she was the village children's escape goat.

Ever time, it would go the exact same, it never changed.

They would grab her by the nape of her neck and drag her off. When she was a little younger, she would try to say that she didn't do anything, that she was just being blamed for something someone else did. However this behavior eventually stopped and she started to completely comply with her parents.

This sometimes meant that her punishment was not as severe as it would have been. Other times, it did nothing but feed into her parents anger, either way she had long ago decided that it was a good risk to try to take.

But sometimes it seems to make her parents feel more angry at her, and for making them feel more angry, she would get a slap straight in the face, or they would do that for fun. The line between the two got blurry a loooong time ago, kinda like the world around her after she got slapped in the face a little bit too hard for her. But she wouldn't dare to complain about her vision. She learned that years ago.

"OWW! Mommy, that really hurt." A little six-year old Akita said to a woman with a fox mask on her face, while rubbing her little cheek with her small hand.

"Shut your damm mouth shut, unless you're planning on going in the basement for a while." The woman said to the little girl.

The little girl, however didn't hear her because of the ringing noise in her ears. So she said "Owie, I can't see right mommy."

....

She'd rather not remember what happened next, that day.

Hours later

She was still running. She couldn't stop running, she was too scared to turn around and look at her village. Even though she was definitely far enough away, to where she wouldn't be able to see her destroyed village.

She still didn't want to have to face the facts.

She didn't want to accept that her home, the place where she was raised and where she grew up, ......
..........was now a wasteland.
