The Neighbor Next Door [Reader × Vampire] (18+)「Completed」

Chapter 1: Initiation

After an annoying day today, you can finally come back home, only to realize that your lock is jammed and wouldn't open up. Oh great, now what. It's already 8 pm, too late to call the locksmith.
'Now what do I do', you think to yourself. Just then, your neighbour walks out. He was always a bit peculiar looking. He had dark circles under his eyes and his skin was quite pale. Jet black hair would usually cover his eyes. But this time, you could see them. They were.... Red?

That's odd, are they contacts?

He looks at you and gives you a little smile and a wave. Your heart flutters a bit, but you get back to your senses.

"Umm, you okay?" His voice was quite elegant, smooth and a bit raspy. Was he always like this?
You don't like what's going on in your head, but you decide to ignore them.

"Umm, not really. The lock on my door is jammed, and I don't think the locksmith will be here. And I just... I don't know what to do."

"Oh, that is indeed unfortunate. Is there anything I can to help?"

"Oh, I don't know. I just need stay the place somewhere. You don't need to worry yourself. I'll just go over to..."

You realized that you don't really have a place to go. Now what will you do?

"You do have some place to go, right? If not, you can stay here. It's just for this night, isn't it?"

"Noo, I can't bother you like that. It's not right. It's my problem and I don't wanna.." He cuts you off before you could keep rambling.

"No, no. I insist. Please, come in."

That voice of his, that tone. You couldn't help yourself. You wanted to listen to him. That was indeed very odd. What effect does he have on you?

Once you enter into his apartment, a pleasant fragrance hits you. This is incredible. Not to mention, the apartment itself is so beautifully decorated. He motions you to sit on the couch which is in the middle of his apartment.

"You make yourself at home. I need to get some things, and I'll be back, okay?"

"Okay, sure. Be safe out there." He gives you a little smirk before leaving again.

There you were, all alone in some strangers apartment. The silence was getting to you. Sure, you lived alone in your own apartment, but the white noise machine kept the silence out. But there was none of that here. All the negative thoughts flood into your mind.

Oh god, what if some serial killer will burst in while he isn't here. Am I really safe all alone? What if he gets killed and that man comes for me? What if this place is actually haunted?

As you're lost in thought, the sound of the door unlocking startles you. It's him. Your neighbor.

"I'm back, hope you didn't miss me too much. Are you comfortable, miss?" His voice calmed you down immediately. But you couldn't hold your tears back.

A few of them trickle down your cheek and you turn your head away. This is embarrassing. You could feel your face burning up.  He rushes over in a panic asking all sorts of questions.

"Hey, hey, hey. What happened, Why are you crying? Are you alright?"

You nod your head

"Why are you crying then? Were you scared of being alone?"

You nod you head again.

How did he know that though?

He opens his arms, hinting for a hug. You look at him, into his eyes. They're deep. That red color feels welcoming. You lean in and hug him. His hug feels warn but he feels cold. That's weird, but you pay no attention. You're not alone anymore. He's here.

"There, there. Everything is all okay." He whispers into your ear. Your face and ears burn up. Isn't this a little too much??? You pull back from the hug. Your arms still on his. They feel rather muscular, don't they?

"Is... is everything okay?"

You keep staring into his eyes, then your eyes wander down to his lips. All sorts of dirty thoughts enter your mind
This isn't good. You don't want to think them. But God, isn't it fun to do that. Unknowingly, you start to lean in. You want those lips. They look so juicy, so tasty.

I wonder what those lips would taste like, how they'd feel on mine.
