Chapter 1 (He's kind of.. different from the rest..)

                                              Aiko POV:  "I don't know what I'm going to do with this project- man-"  Her focus was brought back when her teacher said, "I'll be picking partners for the project, you have to work together to make sure you have proper communication to do this project correctly."  Aiko sighed for she was always put in a pair with people that do not contribute to the project and made her do allllll the work as always.  

Kai POV:  "I wonder who I'll be paired with, I hope it's someone who won't judge me and will help me."  Kai was unhappy, waiting for the teacher to announce the pairs he saw a familiar face on his screen, it was Aiko because they were in an online class they were visible to all their classmates. "She's changed," Kai thought.  

"And.. Aiko and Kai.  All right, I'm putting everyone in breakout rooms, discuss the project within the given time" 
Aiko POV: "Kai? Hmm... Kai... Kai..? Oh! Him!"
Kai POV: "Aiko?"  Kai said while smiling.  
"Hi!" said Aiko friendly. "H-Hey," said Kai sounding nervous.  They worked on the project and in the end, were the best pair in the class for they were the 2 smartest people in their grade's section. 

After school hours, Aiko's mother called her over and pointed at the phone. Aiko looked at the phone to see Kai looking severely regretful and shy. He was wearing his white tank top and the dark blue glasses he always wore. "Hey Aiko, t-thanks for helping me with the project and making sure I didn't have to do all the difficult parts. I appreciate you for that,"  said Kai while slightly blushing. "Thanks," said Aiko awkwardly. 

A few hours later...
Aiko's POV: His eyes were so genuine, he looked so sweet and the fact he went out of his way to thank me for helping him was so.. enchanting... how come I've only noticed him now even though I've known him for years...
