Chapter 8

Team Arrow's suited up ready to fight Damien Darhk because he's killing off ARGUS agents. Darhk's about to steal a chemical bomb when Green Arrow launches an arrow into the ground. Darhk looks up at them and says, "Oh, you brought arrows to a gunfight." Green Arrow says, "What guns?" Green Arrow presses his chest, and the Ghosts guns are flung to the arrow on the ground. Darkh says, "Oh, that was actually pretty clever. Kill them." The four of them then fight off the Ghosts. Then Darkh grabs onto Green Arrow making him powerless to move and he says, "Ooh! You know, I got to be honest. I really thought we'd be doing this dance a lot longer. Night-night." Then team Arrow's whisked away, and they see the Flash. Spartan takes off his helmet and throws up. Spartan says, "Damn it. Every time." Speedy says, "It's The Flash. Did I know we knew The Flash? We know The Flash. Okay. I didn't know we knew The Flash." Green Arrow says, "Thank you. But I don't think you ran all the way here to protect us." Flash says, "No, not to protect you. I need to protect a friend." Later, team Arrow walks into the bunker with Barry and Barry looks at the new bunker and says, "Wow. Nice new digs." Barry looks at Oliver's new suit and says, "Also, I just noticed, no sleeves. Don't you get cold?" Oliver says, "I spend the better part of five years on an island in the North China Sea. I don't get cold, Barry." Lydia looks at Barry and says, "It's really good to see you. Come here." Barry smiles and accepts Lydia's hug, and he says, "It's good to see you, too." Lydia pulls away and says, "I heard about Zoom and that he broke your back, you doing, okay?" Barry nods and says, "Yeah. It's been some crazy times." Cisco and his new friend walk up to the computer area of the bunker, and she says, "Okay, STAR Labs is impressive, but this is..." Cisco says, "This is completely wrong! Did you guys even look at the specs I sent over? This is a tragedy. I'm mourning for the death of engineering. Copper wiring to handle the processing speed from the Palmer Satellite, or else your system is going to overload." Lydia says, "Yeah, but that hasn't happened. I mean, it hasn't happened since last week. I mean, it didn't-- It happened yesterday." Cisco's female friend says, "Hi." Lydia smiles and says, "Hi, I'm Lydia." The woman holds her hand out and says, "I'm Kendra Saunders. I'm Cisco's..." Cisco says, "She's, uh, my, uh, new, beautiful friend who kisses me occasionally." Thea says, "Right. Um, I'm Thea. This is John Diggle and my brother." Kendra looks at Oliver and says, "Oliver Queen." Oliver smiles and says, "Hi." Kendra says, "Wow. Okay, first I get to meet The Flash and now the Green Arrow." Kendra looks at Cisco and says, "Do you have any other surprises for me?" Cisco chuckles and says, "Please, no more surprises." Oliver looks at Kendra and says, "Barry said that you need our help. Somebody very dangerous is after you." Kendra says, "Yeah, and I have no idea why." Thea says, "What does this guy even look like?" Barry walks away and says, "Hold on." Barry speed draws the man and shows it to the everyone. Barry says, "Okay, this is him." Diggle says, "Yeah, see, that's something I would never think of." Lydia grabs the notepad and says, "His kind of rocking the Dothraki look. Let's see if facial recognition can find a match." Lydia sits down in front of the computer and looks the man up. Lydia finds him and turns the computer to show everyone. Kendra says, "That's him." Lydia says, "Yeah, strange. This picture's from 1975." Barry says, "Which would make him about 80 years old right now." Oliver looks at Kendra and says, "Okay, what else can you tell us?" Kendra says, "He said we've know each other for ages, but I've never met the man before." Oliver says, "There has to be some kind of connection." Kendra says, "Not one I can think of. I just moved to Central City six months ago." Oliver says, "Why'd you move there?" Kendra says, "I just felt drawn to the city, I guess." Oliver says, "Kendra, there is a reason this guy's after you. Think." Cisco says, "Look, man, we just came out here to hide out for a bit until we figure things out, so you can just take it down..." Oliver says, "You came here because you need our help. This is what my help looks like." Barry says, "Oliver, I just saved you guys from whatever the hell Flock of Seagulls was about to do. The least you can do is--" Oliver cuts Barry off and says, "Barry, none of us have superpowers. You brought Kendra into our world without knowing who she is or what this dude that is after her is looking for. You made all of us unsafe. So, maybe you ask the questions." Lydia touches Oliver's arm and says, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. We're all friends here, right?" Oliver says, "Mm-hmm." Lydia says, "Why don't we go back to our place and have some drinks, and we can talk?" Barry shrugs and says, "Cool."
