Unpacked suitcases and random articles of clothing were scattered all throughout my already messy room. While my room remained a complete and utter disaster, I sat on the top of my  bunk bed with a tub of ice cream to my side and my laptop which was sitting on my lap. Although I was supposed to be packing, I was way too busy watching old episodes of Supernatural on Netflix.

The Winchester life is way more important than my own life as of right now.

I was eating cookie dough ice cream despite the fact that I actually despise this flavor of ice cream. I'm more of a vanilla ice cream type of girl if I do say so myself. When I say I hate cookie dough ice cream believe me because I mean it.

However, it was our last tub of ice cream in our freezer, and I definitely wasn't going to let it go to waste.

The door to my bedroom opened to reveal a very displeased mom and my best friend, Isabelle or shall I say Izzy.

"When you told me that you had this whole packing situation under control, I thought you were actually being serious with me. I guess not since you haven't got a single thing into your luggage. Not to mention that you came up to your room a hour ago." My mom said as she took a look around my room (that looks like it got hit by a twister).

"Yes, I know I said that, but I'm just trying to squeeze in a little bonding time with my two best friends before I leave tomorrow." I said, referring to my MacBook and ice cream.

"Hey! I'm offended by that." Izzy said in a dramatic way.

"Whatever Jo." Turning to Izzy, "Please help this child pack, Isabelle. I'm begging you." My mom spoke as she began closing the door.

"I love you!" I called out to my mom.

"Yeah, right." I heard my mom scoff behind the door.

"Jo, what the heck. Your room is a mess. Get off your lazy butt because we gotta get your stuff packed." My blue eyed, ginger childhood best friend demanded me.

You're probably wondering why she isn't joining me on my bed, sobbing and eating this melted ice cream with me. Well, that's because we already did our crying prior to this day. It was a week full of movie marathons and tears with her. Now, I think she and my mom are ready to get me out of here and away from them asap.

"I'm good, thanks for offering though. I like the view from up here. It makes me feel superior like I'm in charge or something." I replied.

She stuck her middle finger out at me.

Izzy and I are probably your friendship goals. Heck, we're probably everyone's goals.

I continued on eating the remainder of what was left of the ice cream as I watched Izzy shove clothes into my suitcases.

I saw her pick up my lace bra and matching lace panties from the floor. I think I know where this is going.

"Hmmm." She pondered. "To pack or not to pack." She said with a finger on her chin as if she was in deep thought.

"Let's go with not to pack." I answered for her.

"Hah! You thought! We're definitely packing this." She shoved it into my suitcase rather roughly. "You never know Jo you might meet a cute boy up there."

Tomorrow is the day where I leave to go attend this boarding school all the way up north in New York. It's supposed to be one of the most prestigious boarding schools in the nation, and I got sponsored to attend there for what was supposed to be my junior and senior year of highschool. The only thing about it is that the sponsorship only covers the tuition, books, and food expenses. It didn't cover the dorm expenses and all that jazz. We couldn't afford that seeing as staying in a dorm for just one school year was crazy expensive. I couldn't live at home either because I live all the way in Georgia, so I couldn't just walk to school every morning.
