You woke up glancing around to find you were not in your room. You saw the two familiar doors and the closet right in front of you. You sat up wondering how you came to be here.
"Maybe I walked here in my sleep" you mumbled but no sound came out
"What in the world" again no sound as you mouthed the words
You then heard a slight creak from the door to your right you jolted slightly at the sound. Your eyes met a pair of dark ones slowly opening the door but before he came in the room completely you jolted awake the sound of your alarm blaring. You clicked off the alarm reading the time; 10pm.
"I still have time" you sighed getting up and reaching for the door
You felt the cold knob sit in your hand as you turned it slowly creaking the door open. The sound reminded you of your dream and those dark eyes that were watching you. You pushed down the thought and stepped out of your room making your way down the hallway and to the kitchen.
"Good evening y/n, are you ready for the night?" Evan asked looking up at you from his coloring page
"Good evening, I sure am" you replied sitting across from him
Not much was said after that as you got your favorite food and your favorite drink. You ate slowly as Evan scribbled on his coloring page across from you looking up at you nervously every so often.
"Is something wrong?" You asked quietly throwing away your trash
"....nothing is wrong but did you by any chance have any....strange dreams" he asked looking up at you
"...how did you know..." you asked
"....because I didn't have it and on this night I usually always have the dream..." he said with a sigh
"So what does that mean.." you asked hesitantly
"It means I can't help you, you'll be on your own for tonight, but don't worry I'll tell you what you need to do" he assured you
"....alright..." you replied 'I'll probably have Bonnie' as well you thought
"So let's go over the basics" he said sliding what you thought to be a coloring page in front of you.
On the paper was a pitch black bear with a red bowtie and black eyes. You examined the picture carefully and the image from your dream came to mind.
"This is nightmare" Evan said cutting through the silence
"...nightmare..." you repeated quietly
"Treat Nightmare like you would treat the rest for the most part. Shine the light first, and if he's there, quickly shut the door. Pretty simple except he's really fast and he's also definitely aiming to kill you" he said bluntly
"Well thank you for helping me out" you said slowly
"Of course" he replied giving you a small smile "I actually like you compared to the other babysitters..." he said looking down
"Aw thank you Evan, when I make it through this let's go get ice cream or something" you said patting his head
"Of course!" He smiled getting up from his chair "I have to go now but promise me you'll be ok"
"Of course I will I promise" you said holding out your pinkie to him.
The two of you crossed pinkies and parted just as quickly securing your promise. Evan then made his way down the hall but paused.
