Is It Wrong To Want?

Is it wrong that I want to be kissed in the rain?

That I want to dance in the rain?

That i think it would be cool to have a water balloon fight, and explore a city?

That it would be romantic, to carve our initials in a special tree?

To have a paint fight, and pout when you get it in my hair,

Only to forgive you because you kiss me,

And let me get paint in your hair.

Wouldn't it be cute,

To go on a hike,

And get tired and stop to have a picnic?

Wouldn't it be nice, to go on a bike ride?

With nothing else but each others company and the wind in our hair?

I imagine, a day at the beach,

With the sight of rolling waves,

The feel of sand in our toes,

The taste of ice cream on our lips.

I see us kissing underwater,

The taste of salt, lingers in our mouths.

I dream of watching golden pink sunsets,

After a long day of work,

Of walking away from a bonfire,

Because we're too warm,

And laying down and gazing at the stars.

How I long to be amongst those stars,

Shining prettily in the darkness,

But I envy them,

Because even after I'm gone,

I know you'll be watching them,

And you don't watch me,

Although I am annoyingly crazy to get your attention.

I want to fall asleep under the stars,

Holding your hand,

Talking of life, love and crazy things.

I want to fall asleep with my head on your chest,

Your hand stroking my hair,

Comforting me because my demons have hit hard today.
