I let out a huff in response as I crossed my arms. Sitting upside down on the couch as Peter sat beside me, yet again, tinkering away on his suit. With us being left with nothing else to occupy ourselves, we just distracted ourselves with frivolous tech stuff until our 'pro hero parents' would return.

"Bored huh?" He laughed.

"Yeah..." I swung my legs around as they hung from behind the couch.

"I feel like it might be dangerous if you're bored for too long. Like you might build a whole new suit or make a rocket launcher just to be busy." He snorted as he twirled a screwdriver at the flick of his wrist on his suit.

"Trust me, if I could I would." I spoke affirmatively. " ... But Hawks said I can't go too crazy with my tinkering anymore while we're here..." I muttered under my breath.

"How come?"

"Because when I did a few days ago I made a robot that dispenses ice cream..." I replied, hesitant to finish my sentence.

"Oh! Well that sounds cool I don't know why he would-"

"... Out of his new TV..." I finished solemnly.

"Ah, that makes more sense."

" I just dunno what to do. I feel like I could lose my mind just sitting here doing nothing." I crossed my arms. It was strange... I never had the itch to do tech stuff to such a severe degree before. But this time it felt like I was getting hysterical with each waking moment that I wasn't holding a tool in my hand. For the past two days I had done nothing but fiddle around with my suit to turn it back on. It was beaten up pretty badly from the fight just those few days prior, but to my dejection not a flicker of light would power on from my suit. And even though it was goofy to admit, I really did miss my suit's built-in A.I that would spit out its frequent humbling remarks at me.

I kept blanking out and staring at the pale high ceiling above us before I felt something slip out of my pocket from my upside-down sitting position. My attention was successfully grabbed by the object that slipped out of my pocket as I grabbed the culprit off of the floor. Upon picking it up I realized that the paper I was holding was the pamphlet that had info about UA.

'Huh... I meant to give this to Hawks after he told me he wanted to take a look at this yesterday, but I guess it slipped my mind.'

Then an idea popped into my head.

"Maybe today doesn't have to be so boring." I commented as I inspected the inside of the pamphlet. Peter looked at me bugged-eyed and immediately protested.

"But Hawks told us to stay inside while they're gone-"

"Which is why we'll get back here before they come back." I objected as I held a finger to his lips. Peter obviously still seemed hesitant so I continued on. "I'm sorry, out of the both of us who was the one who repeatedly snuck out of their house to go out for hero-ing?" I replied, referring to the many times Peter snuck out of his place to do his Spider-ing deeds and left May none the wiser.

Peter then fell silent as he was at first about to object, but ultimately closed his lips as he had nothing to retort.

"Exactly, now c'mon, we've got a field trip to go to."

???'s P.O.V:

"What a pain, we've still gotten nowhere with our plan and we don't have any new recruits either." I leaned back in my stool; dangerously close to falling over. One of my hands was kept in a clenched fist on the counter in front of me while the other aggressively itched at my neck.
