Author's POV
"Where do you stay all this while Y/N? This is your regular routine for over a year, are you doing a part-time job?" asked the lady, whose hairs were parted neatly, wrinkles visible under her eyes and she was worried.
"There are things that I can't share with you. Sorry Mom. It's just that I'm doing everything for us. Keep that in mind." Y/N replied and put her hand on her mother's hair. She placed a serene kiss on her forehead. "I love you", saying this, she went into her room.
Next Day
Jungkook's POV
"I want you to get married." My father suddenly appeared when I was having a chat with Jimin.
"And I won't get married." I replied, slightly irritated with the statement my father made out of the blue.
"I am not asking for your opinion. This is my order." Saying this, he headed downstairs.
I rolled my eyes. Jimin placed his hand on my knees. "Will you?" he asked.
"I'm so fed up, Jimin. He didn't let me complete my college, pulled me into this mafia stuff and now he wants me to get married. What does he want? To control me like he always did with mum." I said, frustrated.
Jimin stood up from the couch, "Let's explain it to him together."
I scoffed, "You try, he is never going to listen to me."
Jimin heaved a sigh and went downstairs while I followed him. He entered my father's room, kept the door open for me so that I could eavesdrop their conversation over my marriage.
"Uncle, I've something to say." Jimin said.
"If it is regarding my son's marriage then you should have no say over it. Kindly leave." My father said quite harshly.
"But uncle-" Jimin tried to talk back.
"I said LEAVE."
Jimin soon came out and closed the door. "He had probably arranged my wedding date, venue, time, and even a partner. Leave it, Jimin, it is not going to happen." I said exhausted over the life I've been living in for the past 22 years.
In the evening
Y/N's POV
I came home from university when I saw a big, black Mercedes standing right in front of our house.
My eyes narrowed, so I cautiously stood in front of the window to watch. After I thought everything was safe, I entered my house when the tall old man, who was smoking, stood up.
"Throw your cigarette." I said.
"And who are you to say that?" the arrogant man standing in front of me replied.
"My mother has breathing problems, kindly throw it out." I answered him.
"I won't."
That's it. He crossed his limits. I stomped in front of him and pulled the cigarette out of his lips, picked up the ash-tray and threw them out of the window.
The man now looked vexed. He gritted his teeth and said, "I'm not saying anything because you are my soon-to-be daughter-in-law else I would have not spared you."
"What nonsense?" I said keeping my hands on my waist. "I'm not your daughter-in-"
"Yes YOU ARE, MISS, YOU ARE!" He said, more like yelling at me, when I shot a glare and frowned at him.
"You will marry my son and that is final. No in between. Dare to run away and I'll kill your mother. Dare to say no and I'll abduct you."
I looked at him in disbelief. "Mom, Why are you not saying anything?"
"I can't say anything, Y/N. Please do as he says." My mother said while looking down. The man right in front of me gave a dirty smirk.
"So will you sign the contract, Miss?" he asked, while I nodded hesitantly.
He took out a paper and proudly placed it in front of me. "If my mother wants, I shall do it." I thought. He gave me a pen and asked me to put in my signature. "Jeon Jungkook." I saw the name. Maybe he is his son. With shaking hands, I put my signature at the desired place.
"So your wedding will be held the day after tomorrow." Saying this, he walked towards the door and said, "Bye Jeon Y/N, see you!"
