Ramy Botros Is An Innovative And Entrepreneurial Musician

Ramy Botros is an extremely talented, creative musician with a background in business and sales as a client-oriented sales professional. Having a comprehensive knowledge and a deep understanding of playing Lute instrument, he has been the instructor who has given almost 28 performances for audiences of a minimum of 300 persons per performance. Besides this, he has researched Sufi, Jewish and Middle Eastern ethnomusicology and the chronology of Egyptian music. He is a musician soloist and travel for doing concerts and to teach the Lute instrument to the people from different walks of life. 

In Egypt, Ramy Botros has been among the top 5 players of the Lute music from the year 2009-2012. Exploring more about his work history, he is the founder of teaching the Lute school online. This is the first original online project for teaching classical Lute music to students from over around the world. He teaches students from Russia, Denmark, Turkey, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Norway and USA. Till now, he has taught 30 students per year for a total of 120 students how to play the Lute. 

Talking about his accomplishments so far, Ramy Botros has given several striking and attention grabbing performances during his career span and has been applauded by a wider audience. He has performed in Opera House, Cairo, Egypt, in 2009. He has also shown his talent in Egypt Residencies International Conference on Lute Performance, 2010. He has performed for TEDx Conference ,in the year 2011. He also co-led instructional workshops on Oud ethnomusicology and performance with Professor Mehmet Betmas (Turkey), and Dr. Charbil Rohanna (Lebanon). 

Referring to his academic background, Ramy Botros has done Business Administration from Assuit, Egypt in the year 2010. After that, he passionately joined Arab Lute Academy and received a Soloist honors degree of M.A. in Music in Cairo, Egypt. He has achieved honored soloist degree in teaching Lute and professional Musician for more than 12 years. While learning how to play Lute, he performed in Opera House at a high classical level and worked as a teacher for 4 years there. Thereafter, he moved to USA and joined the University of the Nations for studying performing Arts in Hawaii, USA. There, Ramy Botros received a full scholarship award for training in performing arts during 6 months program. He trained in computer science and music education. He also ranked among the top 10% of class in music education.
