Zaire's Point of View

As I made my way to the second door in the common room, I was greeted by a dimly lit hallway, just as Professor Geronimo said. I made my way though the long, designated corridor and shortly after, I was now facing a mirror at the edge.

"Oh well, Geronimo better be right," I muttered before holding my breath and stepped a foot in the human sized mirror. I felt as if gel was washed over my body, until a new environment swallowed me in when I got out.

I gasped at the charm. At the other side there was a short range of spiral staircases with a door at the top, so I went up and opened the small wooden door made out of green tinted wood.

I gasped, "Geronimo would not have given this to me!"

I gaped at the room before me, slightly small and dull but it screamed "luxury" with it. Green, white, black and silver was visible on any corner with silver ornaments in tables and shelves. I medium sized canopy bed was at the center of the circular room with green sheets and a silver S on it. The walls were Slytherin Green with black victorian swirls as patterns. And on the fireplace burned an emerald green fire, with a picture of a moving man above it.

"Salazar Scorpius Slytherin," I read the carving on the frame as it bows down and silently waved hello to me. "I-it can't be his room...this is Salazar Slytherin's bedroom?!"

Geronimo told me about him and this house of his. Salazar Slytherin was one of the founders of the school, and pretty much the only founder whose name haven't slipped my mind. I remember something about Helena? Or Rowena? I couldn't remember their strange names but I did my best to remember the true Head of the Slytherin house, that would be embarrassing if I don't remember Salazar Slytherin when I am a Slytherin.

Back to my trin of thoughts, I took a look again and saw a shelf was filled with tropies, along with pictures of the same man holding the them, with a couple medals hanging around. "This is wicked," I gaped.

And all my things has been brought up! It is now stored in a chest on the edge of the bed, and a rather large one too. Beside the bed I noticed something moving. The basket's lid was being lifeed up and down as if the one inside would be eager to come out. I chuckled as I made my way to it, lifting open the lid.

Finally Silveria popped out, looking exhausted and mad as I expected her to be. "Where were you, Zaire?" She talked in a hushed, raspy tone which is usually her actual voice. "I have been tossed and thrown around and you weren't there! I could have been train sick, you know!"

Seeing her annoyed, I decided to annoy her more. "Ssssso, you're ssssso mad, Sssssilveria?"

"Ugh, for the last time, I don't talk like that! That is actual stereotyping for a snake like me and I'm offended!" She hissed, coiling on the bedposts while I drop myself onto the soft bed.

I chuckled, getting used to Silveria's usual rants about snake languages. It doesn't bother me now, seeing as I was listening to it for almost fifteen years.

Before my parents were taken by the ministry, a snake was left to me by my parents while they left their money and belongings to Ari for safe keeping when she grows up. The snake, whom I named after my second name has been my loyal friend for fifteen years now. She is very loyal and not like the usual people we call 'snakes'. Although she does hate stereotypes, like how she bites every human she sees, and talking like what we believed how snakes talk.

Aside from Pearly, she's also my guardian. Silveria has that pure silver scales that she sheds off every month or two. She has piercing yellow slits and has no eyelids, which is totally creepy once you wake up to her seeming to watch you. She has a total 9 feet length and isn't really that heavy. Despite her beauty and personality I still don't take her outside. Not many people are fond of snakes, and if somebody does, they will most likely be after her skin.

I chuckled, before I made my way to the bathroom to change into my pajamas. The bathroom was, despite the small tower, was fairly huge and neat with green patterns lining up the tiles. Wow, I thought. Getting special thoughts huh?

After washing and changing into my pajamas, I made my way to the bed which was neatly made, and a pang of fear and worry washed over me. "I don't know what will be of this beautiful room once I wake up in the morning," I muttered, fearing my nightmares would destroy such beautiful haven.
