The Backrooms - Is it over? - (Part 2)

Is it over?

I woke again to the sound of the guard opening the gate and yelling at us.

"COME ON GET UP" the guard barked. We all got up and walked towards the guard. Then the guard led us to The Hole. As we walked there we passed a lot of people. They all made sour faces at us, I'm just glad we're not getting things thrown at us. But I found out why they didn't throw anything at us. When I had asked Jax.

"Why aren't they throwing anything at us?" I asked,

"Because they consider it as a waste of supplies on us..."Criminals" You know?" Jax said

"Oh right..." I said. As we walked there we walked passed a bunch of cells with people in them. We finally arrived at The Hole, it was literally a big gaping hole with 5 layers of cells around it. The guard opened them all and asked,

"Whos going first?"

"I'll go, Look guys it's been a long journey ... I'll uh... I'll miss yall," Troy said and jumped into The Hole. Then Hal went and then Liam and finally it was me and Jax.

"Look it'll be over soon, I'll miss you, man," Jax said, then he jumped inside. The guard looked at me and said,

"It's not that far down, once you're down there there's no getting out." I looked down and jumped. I was falling for about 10 seconds until I hit the ground floor.

*OOF*

I got up quickly and saw none of my friends nearby. I knew I couldn't call for them because if I did I could draw some unwanted attention. You know what who cares if I'm going to die then I want to die with them.

"GUYS YOU HERE, HELLo-" I got pulled back and something covered my mouth.

"SHHHHH What the hell is wrong with you?" Troy said. I looked at the others we were all in a small dark room. Then we heard a noise, it sounded like the Bacteria. I heard heavy footsteps and out of nowhere it stopped. I looked around then I heard a scream behind me, it was Liam.

"AHHHH"

I looked in front of me and I saw the giant silhouette of the Bacteria. It threw me against the wall and before it could do anything else, Jax tackled it.

"GET OFF HIm-" Jax said before it hit him. Jax got thrown to the other side of the cave. Then a body came falling to the ground, it was Liam. Blood was everywhere, I didn't know what to do, I just watched. Hal was next the Bacteria picked him up and bit his head off. Then Troy pulled out a knife and stabbed the Bacteria it screeched then drove its claws right through his chest. He collapsed to the floor, and Jax grabbed Troy's knife and stabbed the Bacteria again and again. The Bacteria screeched and grabbed Jax by the head and crushed it. I was the last one the Bacteria drove its claws into me. All I felt was pain I couldn't move I just watched my friends lay lifelessly on the ground. I then saw the Bacteria walk away, I looked at the ceiling and closed my eyes. Is it... over?
