Kayla latched herself onto Demi's arm the second she walked into the house. "I missed you so much, you looked good on Raw," Kayla whispered into her ear.
Heat rose on Demi's cheeks like it always does whenever she complimented her.
"Thank you," Demi said.
"So, are you happy with us being public now?" Kayla asked Demi, nervously as they walked into the living room.
Demi nods as she takes a seat on the couch and pulls Kayla onto her lap.
"I'm more than happy, I get to finally show off my beautiful and caring girlfriend to the world, and let all those thirsty freaks in your direct messages know you're not single and never will be," Demi answered as she pressed a kiss on Kayla's cheek.
A chuckle escaped Kayla's lips.
"First of all, my messages are way more tamed than yours, and I like the sound of that," Kayla said.
Demi's strong arms wrapped around her waist from behind, and she was tugged back into her chest.
"Well, it's probably going to be worse than ever for the best of us now," Demi said as she thought about all the weirdos sending vulgar messages to Kayla and herself about their relationship. "But we'll just tune them out, right," Demi continued.
Kayla nods.
"As long as it's not a threat to safety then yeah we can tune them out," Kayla said.
"I'm telling you right now I'm breaking faces if anyone threats your safety," Demi says.
Kayla shakes her head with a grin and captured Demi's lips in a passionate kiss. She let out a gasp of surprise but her lips moved in sync with Kayla's lips. Demi gripped Kayla's chin prompting her to break the kiss.
"I'm serious, Kaye," Demi said.
"I know, Demz," Kayla said.
They sat there in silence until Demi spoke up.
"We have dinner plans tonight," Demi said.
"Really?" Kayla asked, surprised.
"Yes. Why are you surprised?" Demi replied with a raised eyebrow.
"Because I thought you would want to stay in after being on the road for so long," Kayla answered.
"Nah, I want to go out and have a romantic dinner with my girl," Demi stated with a smirk.
"Awe. Okay," Kayla said.

"So, what have you been up to since I've been on the road?" Demi asked Kayla, breaking the comfortable silence after they finished dinner.
Kayla smiles, reaching across the table to take Demi's hand. "I've been planning my brand's tenth-anniversary party," Kayla answered.
"Oh yeah, what do you have planned so far?" Demi asked her as she squeeze her hand.
"A pop-up shop with a private dinner party featuring the brand-new Armonioso assortment," Kayla answered.
"That sounds nice. Where are you having it?" Demi asked her.
"I was hoping for Miami but it looks like Los Angeles might be a better option for the party," Kayla replied.
"I know you'll figure it out, just let me know when the party is so I can make sure I'm there for you," Demi told her.
Kayla smiled.
"Of course," Kayla said.
After dessert, Kayla excuses herself to the bathroom, and Demi takes the opportunity to pay the bill. When she returns, Demi stands up from her seat, offering her hand to Kayla.
"You paid already?" Kayla asked her as she placed her hand in Demi's hand.
"Yeah, I did," Demi answered.
Kayak nods, and they leave the restaurant. Once, they make it outside, the cool night air hits their skin.
"Oh, I like this temperature," Kayla said.
They walk together, enjoying the quietness of the empty streets, this was the best part of living in Tampa for Kayla, no paparazzi and the scenery of everything.
"I had a great night," Demi said, stealing glances at Kayla, admiring the way the streetlights plays across her features.
"Me too," Kayla said, meaning it with all her heart.
