(Karl's POV)
KARL WAKE UP
I jolted out of bed, surprised to see my bright-eyed sister staring at me."Can you drive me to school again? It was much more fun with you!" She asks with enthusiasm in her voice.
I yawn and smile back at her. "Sure, but we need to leave sooner than usual."
She squeals and runs out of my room, screaming something about getting ready as fast as she can.
I chuckle at her excitement and slowly crawl out of bed, my body instantly releasing the warmth that once enveloped me.
Stretching my arms, I move towards my bathroom, adjusting the oversize t-shirt that I had worn to bed.
I step into the shower immediately, turning the tap to the right and sighing as the endlessly cold water makes its way from the top of my head down to the drain.
That's when I remembered.
I was supposed to drive Sapnap to school.

(Sapnap's POV)
Sighing, I put my head in my hands, trying to finish the last of my homework before school.
I asked Karl to pick me up from a cafe since Vanessa was getting ready for a date. She was hesitant to leave me and felt bad, but I eventually persuaded her.
Slowly, I rest my head on the table of the modern-themed cafe. I silently shut my eyes, tired of working all morning.
My head turns at the sound of a child laughing, slowly getting closer before I'm engulfed in a hug.
I smile sleepily at the small child wrapped around my leg.
"Hey Lizz, why are you here?" I curiously asked.
"Karl said he would drive me to school because I like it better when he does it instead of Mom," she says, grinning.
I smile back at her as she climbs onto the chair next to me.
"Why is that?" I watch as her smile falters before returning
"Because mum always... She gets cut off by a hand wrapping around her head, shutting her mouth.
I look up to see the brunette-haired boy looking at me.
He clears his throat before unravelling his hand from his sister's mouth.
He chuckles nervously, fear present in his eyes, as he sits down, watching the table as if it were the most interesting thing.
"I-um," I start, quickly being cut off.
"Do you want to order something? We've got a bit of time before school starts." He asks, his cheery smile returning instantly.
Something was still wrong, but he doesn't want to talk about it.
"Sure," I respond, not pressing the subject any further.
I watch as Elizabeth runs up to the counter, pointing out every pastry to the cashier.
I turned towards him and smiled appreciatively. "Thanks so much for this. It's just Vanessa was busy, and I didn't want to turn to Dream because he always helps."
The brunette boy cuts me off by wrapping his arms around my waist and engulfing me in an embrace.
"Geez, you act like I'm buying you a house or something." He quickly pulls away and walks up to the counter.
Blushing, I walk up towards the two, slightly dazed.
"Karl, I can't see," Elizabeth said, craning her head upwards to the menu.
She raises her arms to be picked up, which Karl immediately does.
"Oh, Karl, I want that!" Elizabeth exclaims, pointing towards a birthday cake milkshake.
"What is up with you and milkshakes?" He responds, chuckling.
She smiles up at him and pats his head.
"The're good,"
The cashier lady clears her throat, drawing our attention towards her.
"I guess it's time to order," Karl states, stepping towards the counter.
"Can I get a medium birthday cake milkshake and a caramel cappuccino, please?" He steps back from the counter, nodding towards me, and asks me to order something.
"I'll get a caramel latte."
Looking at the total, Karl sighs before grabbing his wallet from his pocket and pulling out a twenty-dollar bill.
As he reaches over to give the cashier the money, I tap my card on the reader, smiling as the word "accepted" pops up on the screen.
Nodding, the cashier walks into the kitchen to make the drinks.
"What the hell? Why? I could have paid for it," Karl exclaims
"Don't mention it; just think of it as paying you for the ride." I shrug, smiling.
He slaps his hand to his face and groans, hiding a smile growing on his face. "What kind of fancy taxi service am I running?"
I turn towards him and laugh tiredly.
Karl studies my face, looking slightly concerned. "You look tired." "Are you okay?"
Smiling, I sit back down at the table. "Yeah, I stayed up doing homework. I can't figure out the math."
He sits down, flipping my homework towards him. "What are you working on?"
I rest my head on the table and sigh. "Calculus"
"I can help you after school."
I turned my face towards him, noticing the bright smile that was covering his face.
"Really? Sure, why though?" I respond, slightly confused.
"Here comes sweet little Snapsnap thinking there has to be a reason for everything." He giggles
My face flushes bright red
"it's one complement, I don't usually blush at complements though"
My ideas race around in circles, blending and combining until I settle on one obvious, correct response.
I love one of my closest friends, Karl Jacobs.
