Chapter two,
you ruined my chance with someone, again

"Come on, man. Do You really want a girl like her? because there's better options out there for you."
That damn sentence had echoed inside her head, this was absolute reasoning into why she despised Chad Meeks-Martin. He constantly butted into her businesses with other people.
He was the reasoning into the previous guy that she was casually sleeping around with almost three months ago to suddenly leave her ghosted, and quickly finding some other girl the next day as her replacement, it hurt her feelings real bad to see that with her very own eyes, especially because she had a tendency of getting attached to people so easily.
The first person she had ever gotten attached to was her bestfriend, Anika. They had easily met in kindergarten despite being in different classrooms, but they just clicked. Anika, was her first ever true family, and the person who made her feel at home. . . 'cause her real home never felt like a home to her.
She was slowly walking behind the entire friend group despite hearing the argument of Tara and Sam. . . some really overrated arguments that she didn't want to really listen into, this was when her imaginary friend had appeared beside her.
"What's up with the sad face, cece?" He had quickly noticed her saddened expression, this was the same expression she had made when her mother never showed up to neither of her middle or high school graduation.
Serena sighed sadly, "People always want to ruin my happiness. . ." She had slowly said to him, her head was down glancing at her feet, and her arms were simply crossed, "I finally had a chance with someone, and Chad, he just had to fucking ruin it." She Growled in pure frustration.
Her imaginary friend glanced at the entire friend group, and quickly finding Chad before he had glanced back at Serena, "Just like that little fling that you mentioned?" He had simply remembered being summoned by Serena who needed to rant about something, "It seems that he's extremely jealous, jealous that you're with other guys and not him." He retorted.
Serena almost felt like gagging at his stupid response, "Chad does not like me, and I don't like him either. He could date other girls for all I care." She had reasoned, but just the thought of Chad dating other girls didn't sit right with her.
Nose scrunching up in disgust.
"Hah- There's that face, Cece!" He basically let out a loud laughter that only she was able to hear, "You're also jealous, and don't want him dating other girls!" He playfully taunted her.
