Meet Levi. Levi is a newly-graduated student of Harvard University, passing with near perfect grades. He's 24 years old, and had gone to college and majored in engineering.
Levi lives in a small house with his boyfriend, Nathaniel. Nathaniel has a part-time job as a barista, usually working from 3pm to 7pm 3-4 times a week.

Nathaniel is also half vampire, but he hasn't told Levi yet. He's not entirely sure how to. He doesn't have fangs, and bright lights don't affect him. Other than that, though, Nathaniel has traits like rapid regeneration, super strength, and immortality.

Occasionally, also, he's known to drink blood. Not often, though, as he obviously isn't capable of drinking from live prey like other vampires are.

"Nate?.. You home?" Levi called, holding his neck as he walked through the door. Nathan got up, rushing over to Levi when he saw them. "Lev, what happened?!"
"Uh... Y'know, crazy guy bit me and uh... I-i'm bleeding, kinda.. a lot.." Levi mumbled, stumbling as he leaned against a wall. "Levi, let me see." Nathan demanded softly.

Levi didn't object much, moving his hand so Nathan could see the bite mark. Amongst all the blood were two puncture holes, about an inch away from each other. This is a vampire bite.

"Levi? Oh, dear.." Nathan says, picking Levi up; He had passed out. Nathan placed him on the couch, going to the bathroom to grab some bandages he kept in there.
Levi started coming to as Nathan wrapped the bite on his neck. "Good morning- so, uh... That was a vampire's bite, my love."

Levi is fully aware that vampires are real; in their world, a lot of creatures are, including vampires, sirens, and phantoms.

"Wh-what‽ Nathan- I can't be turned! M-my family would literally kill me, I-" Levi rambled nervously. "I won't let that happen, Levi. But I need you to calm down, and uh.. try to stay calm as I say this.." Nathan started.
Levi tilted his head, squinting as he tried to get used to how bright light was to him now. "See, um.. I-i'm actually... 500 years old- I'm half vampire. My mother was human, but my father is a vampire- I don't have fangs, obviously, but I have pretty much everything else.. I-i wanted to tell you but I didn't know how-" Nathan prattled.

"Nate?" Levi interrupted, sounding a bit impatient. Nathan looked at him, shutting up. "I love you, and I'll ask more later, but I feel like I'm losing my mind right now- I.. I need.."
"Blood. You need blood, right." Nathan said, sitting next to Levi. "Right, bite my wrist, then-" he started. Levi laughed a little. "Fuck that, I wanna bite your neck like in the moviesss-"

Nathan blushed a little. "Levi, biting the neck is very intimate." He said. "And? You're my boyfriend, let me be intimate~" Levi countered, crawling over Nathan. "Or are you too nervous, Half-blood?" He teased.
"I'm not nervous!" Nathan bristled, turning red as Levi held his head still. "Oh, you're right; you're not nervous.. you're flustered." Levi said, smirking at him.

Nathan huffs softly. ".. Levi-" he started, though his sentence was cut off when Levi bit into his neck. Nathan bit his lip slightly- so maybe he was a little nervous. He's never been bit before, especially not on his neck.
And it wasn't helping much that he was having inappropriate thoughts; being so close to his ear, Nathan could hear every sound Levi was making, and honestly?.. Nathan found it attractive. Not to mention, Levi's mouth is quite literally on his neck.

Nathan hardly realized when Levi had pulled away- hell, he didn't even realize that he'd closed his eyes until he opened them. When he did, he found his ever-smug boyfriend grinning at him.
"Oh my god, Nate, you look like I just fucked you." Levi says. "V-vampirically speaking, you did- sort of anyway-" Nathan retorted with a huff.

"I never thought blood would taste so good-" Levi said, laying on Nathan in a cuddly way. Nathan rolls his eyes a little bit smiled, running his hand through Levi's hair.
"Just don't try to eat regular food." He advised. Levi sat up quickly. "What‽ Awe, but whyyyy?" They whined. Nathan chuckles softly. "Sorry, Lev, but vampires can't digest human food. If you try, you'll throw it up."

"So I'm just supposed to drink blood from now on?? Ugh, that's so lame. Also, what exactly was your plan if I hadn't been turned? I mean, you're immortal, and up until today, I wasn't." Levi said.
Nathan shrugged a little. "I.. was figuring it out. But hey, this works out for both of us, because now you're immortal too."

"Immortal and I can't even enjoy a fuckin steal anymore." Levi mumbled, a little salty. "But how come you can eat? I've seen you eat food multiple times." He continued.
"Because I'm half human. That's also the reason I need sleep." Nathan explained simply. "Yeah, about that- why have I never heard of a half human vampire?" Levi asked. Nathan looked away slightly.

"All my mom told me is that vampires aren't supposed to have children with humans. And that's why dad wasn't.. in my life. I don't know him, really- just his name, Kalvane. Obviously,my mother named me." Nathan explains.
"Wait, so, your dad was never there for you? He sounds like a dick. Like, he didn't even want to meet you??" Levi asked. Nathan sighs. "Mom would never give me the full story. She just said he can't know me, and that I was safer this way."

"He doesn't even know you exist‽" Levi exclaimed. Nathan shrugged a little in response. Levi looked out the window, then back at Nathan. "Well, come on- it's getting dark out. There's bound to be other vampires outside; maybe they'll know your dad!"

"Lev, I dunno... If mom thought I was safer without him knowing me, maybe she was right-" Nathan said. "Nate, come on! You deserve to at least meet your father!"

Nathan frowned in thought, looking between Levi and the door. "... Fine. But only for a bit- remember, I still get tired."
