Chapter 11

As they were moving forward Bai Yichen and his group came across red fruit aka tomatoes.They were excited and started plucking it.

A little forward he saw an inconspicuous plant,he went forward and realised it's actually ginger.

Xiaobao and Long Mingyu noticed Bai Yichen's actions and followed him.Bai Yichen dug a ginger but he didn't smell it this time thinking about Long Mingyu's reaction before.

"Why are you digging spicy palm,Yichen.Don't do it,it can't be eaten.Some villagers had tried it before but it was really spicy and the next day at the outhouse the villagers had problem um....."
He whispered in Bai Yichen's ears "urinating."

Bai Yichen looked at him "it cannot be eaten in large amount as staple food like white roots it is also a spice."

"Is it delicious?"
"Yes"
"Then what are we waiting for let's dig it."

They dug the gingers leaving some of them to grow there and plucked the tomatoes aka red fruit.They ate the steamed buns that Bai Yichen brought and went home.

When they reached Bai Yichen and Long Mingyu's home they separated.Then Bai Yichen and Long Mingyu went into the yard together.

He took today's goods and sorted them carefully to wash and dry it tomorrow.
Then they quickly washed up and went to the kitchen with Long Mingyu.Long Mingyu sat on the stool and Bai Yichen cooked congee and chopped the pork given by Chen Amu in the morning.

He chopped the onions and made ginger garlic paste.He first washed and peeled the ginger and garlic,
placed them at the flat stone and beat them into a paste by a slightly round stone.

He put oil into the pot,added dried peppercorns and onions,stirred it until it's brown then he added ginger garlic paste into till it's fragrance is out,then added meat into it.He added more firewood for high flame,after the meat starts turning red,add chopped tomatoes and salt into it. After sometime add some water to cook it,till the water is dried.

He took a bowl and added meat into it.
"Lets bring this to the Chen family."
Long Mingyu nodded his head.
Then they went to the Chen family.

It took an incense stick of time to reach the Chen family's home.Long Mingyu carried the bowl and Bai Yichen knocked the door of the Chen family.

"Who is it?"
"Amu it's me,Yichen"

The door was opened by Chen Feiyu who led them into the yard.It was time for Chen family to have dinner.Although the Chen family gave him a large piece of pork in the morning but their dinner table only had congee and stirred fried vegetables.Meat was not seen in their table.

Bai Yichen felt that although the original owner grew up without his parents but he always had his parents like figure around him who protected him and treated him as their own.

When Chen Amu saw them,he kindly invited them to join in.
"Chen'er,Mingyu come here and join us for dinner."
"It's okay Amu,we have already cooked dinner.We just came to deliver this.Please have a taste."

Then he gave the bowl to Chen Amu.Chen Amu took the bowl and uncovered the lid.

When he saw meat in it he looked at Bai Yichen and felt sad."This is the meat we gave you in the morning isn't it?"sigh*

"Chen'er,we have always treated you as our own.You don't need to fulfill such formalities.Take this meat and eat it with Mingyu at home."He covered the lid and gave it to Bai Yichen to take it home.But Bai Yichen didn't take it."Since you have always treated me as your own,I have also always treated you both as my elders.Today I came here expecting to get praises from my elders and we have left some meat for us at home.Please have a taste"

Chen Amu nodded his head with red eyes."okay okay Chen'er."

Then he took the bowl to the dinner table .The four members of the Chen family tasted it.
"Wow Yichen it's so delicious."Chen Xiaobao couldn't help picking another piece.

Chen Feiyu also nodded his head.
"It's delicious Chen'er.You did a good job."
Chen Amu patted Bai Yichen on his head.

"Chen'er do you plan to sell this in the Pier?"Chen father asked Bai Yichen.

He nodded his head" I do plan to sell such foods in the near future."

Chen father nodded his head.Chen Amu looked at Bai Yichen and smiled"Let Xiaobao and Feiyu help you at that time.Chen'er when you encounter difficulties don't hesitate to tell us.okay?"

Bai Yichen nodded his head."then we will be going home now."

"Wait let me wash your bowl."
Chen Amu knew that Bai Yichen didn't have enough utensils at home.So he placed the remaining pork at another bowl,washed it and put half of his stirred fried wild vegetables into it.
Bai Yichen took it and went home.

After entering their yard,they locked the door and went to dinner.
When Long Mingyu tried the pork he couldn't stop eating it."Fulang it's delicious."He placed some pork in Bai Yichen bowl.Bai Yichen glanced at him and ate it.

Suddenly he felt a shadow loom over him.When he glanced up.. Smooch*

Long Mingyu kissed him on his forehead"my Fulang is the best cook.hehe"

Then he returned to his seat and continued eating.Bai Yichen was shy but he felt that he became quite accustomed to his husband's kisses in just few days .Sigh*

After they had dinner,they washed up and went to sleep.But today Long Mingyu was stubborn.He wanted to sleep with Bai Yichen in his arms.
Bai Yichen had already removed Long Mingyu's hands on his waist several times but Long Mingyu persisted on putting his hands on his waist.

Bai Yichen couldn't escape his grasp.Who told him to sleep between his husband and wall? Sigh*
Bai Yichen realized that he had already sighed so many times today and he didn't know how it will be tomorrow.

A leg was put suddenly over Bai Yichen.Now Bai Yichen is completely within long Mingyu's embrace.
Smooch*Long Mingyu kissed him on his cheek."my Fulang"Then he fell asleep.

Feeling his even breathing Bai Yichen tried to remove his arms but failed.He realized his defeat and soon fell asleep.

Sorry for not updating till now.I had a compulsory 10 days camping at my college.The camping just ended yesterday and the updates will be regular from now on.
