Chapter 3
Unexpected Visitor
Like I'm gonna listen to her. I get up from the bed as soon as she closes the door. I hobble over to the door and walk out into the hallway. Definitely, a nice change of scenery. I can see a few other rooms down the hall and the main staircase. I decided going down the staircase was a bad idea and just stood against the railing in front of the front door to see who was there. I made sure that whoever it was couldn't see me just in case. I heard the front door open and Reign saying
"Hi, not to be impolite but who are you?"
Way to make everything you say adorable Rei.
"Um hi I'm Sid, and you are?" Sid said.
"Suspicious-" Reign noted
"SID!" I yell before Rei shoots her to the ground. "It's fine, hun. You can trust her."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm positive." I say making my way towards the steps.
"Also what are you doing out of bed? I told you to stay put." Rei said while running up the stairs towards me.
"Don't tell me what to do. Plus if I didn't you would have photon blasted Sid to the last century before even knowing why she was here." As I say that last bit Rei had picked me up and was carrying me bridal style down the stairs
"Sam, thank goodness you're alive. I was worried sick." Sid commented.
I could tell by the way she tensed up that she was jealous. I could barely keep in my laughter.
"Yeah, how did you find me anyway?"
"Before you explain that. Let's go sit in the common room." Rei ignorantly remarked.
"Aww but I quite like being carried." I jokingly said. "I normally carry you so it's a nice change of pace. I'll have to return the favor once I'm better."
"Of course, you will, charming." She remarked.
Oh, I see how it is you're trying to claim me as yours well I am but you don't need to know that.
"Alright let's go to the couches. I need to catch you up on a lot Sid."
"Ok."
"Right this way." Rei directioned.
Oh, I can hear the jealousy in her voice. This is going to be good.
"So Sid, how did you find me?" I say as Rei sets me down and sits beside me.
"Well, when you called me and clearly lied telling me that you weren't going to get hurt I started tracking your phone but the connection was lost after some time. It took me a lot of time hacking surveillance cameras and finding you."
"Oh, well you weren't supposed to track me but I'm glad you did." All I care about now is making Rei jealous.
"Yeah, so what happened?" She asked
"Um-" I say looking at Rei as she looks down at her feet. "Just got ambushed. Nothing special."
"And who are you?" Sid asks.
"She's- well- it's kind of hard to explain." I say
"Yeah, long story. But I don't know who you are?" Rei asks
"Oh sorry. I'm Sid, one of Sam's friends from work."
"Yeah, she helped me find you." I remark
"Oh really? wow, you must be pretty smart." Rei jealously says.
