Bora hissed as Jungkook gently pressed a cloth stained with alcohol onto her wound, her hand closing in retaliation.

"Stay still," Jungkook said and wrapped his fingers around her wrist once more, pulling it closer as she opened her hand up for him again.

In Jungkook's suite, Bora lay on his king-sized bed, under the heavy blankets as a singular lamp lit the room. Jungkook was at her bedside with a dozen of medical supplies, sitting on one of the chairs. With the absence of the table, the supplies floated in the air beside him as a result of his magic. At times, Bora's eyes would travel to them, constantly bewildered by his use of sorcery. Then, they would travel to Jungkook's face, observing him quietly as he cleaned her wound.

His cloak was off, showing his face and his build fully. The white collar dress shirt he wore was pristine, almost as pale and pure as his skin. With the gentle flame of the candle lit beside them, why, she could not take her eyes off of him.

"I am sorry. My anger consumed me and you got injured," Jungkook spoke up, his deep voice burying into her chest. "I understand why you wanted to venture into that room, though, I cannot explain to you exactly what it is for."

Bora stayed silent and still, too fearful of speaking up and saying the wrong thing in front of this intimidating man.

"Did... the ghosts show you around the castle?" Jungkook asked hesitantly, his eyes flashing up to hers as he grabbed the gauze bandage.

"Yes, they did," she answered simply, slightly wincing at the pressure on her wound as Jungkook evenly wrapped the bandage around her hand. She noticed his hands were warm, contrary to her expectations. He was also very gentle with her, handling her with such care as if she were to crumble easily.

"Have you eaten?" he asked, though his voice was laced with blatant uncertainty. "I apologize. I have not spoken to another human being in years."

"Don't worry," Bora spoke up softly. "I am practically the same way. And yes, I have eaten."

Jungkook glanced at her before leaning back, the wound on her palm fully covered. She ran her thumb along the bandage, pulling into herself as she felt his heavy gaze on her.

"Get some rest," he said, standing up. The medical supplies, together with the chair in which he previously sat, began to move back to where they were, with the supplies on the table and the chair against the wall, all from Jungkook's magic. "I can tell you have not gotten an ounce of sleep."

"H-Here?" Bora asked, glancing around the suite and noting that it was in fact, his and not hers.

"Yes," he nodded, making his way to the door. Before he could open it, Bora's light voice filled the room.

"What is your name?" she tentatively asked. Jungkook's hand paused on the doorknob, his heartbeat suddenly increasing in pace.

"Jungkook. Sleep well," is all he said before opening the door, and closing it shut right after.
