Chapter 61: The Village in Distress

Orochimaru smiled, seeing that his daughter was skilled enough to keep undetected by the own Anbu from the training he did with her.

"Well, looks like the little Crystal has grown more skill since our last meeting in the Forest of Death," Orochimaru commented, pretending that he hadn't seen her since then.

"Kei, what are you doing here?" The Third Hokage asked, shocked."You should be over with Mizuko-sensei and your teammates."

"I don't know, just kept getting a feeling about the Kazkage," She said, clenching her snake necklace."My body just decided that coming here was the right thing," She said, her gaze turning towards her father.

"Well, well, Crystal hatchling, you sense something was of off with the Kazkage and hid your charka without being noticed except by me," Orochimaru said with a smirk and faint emotion of interest was in his eyes.

'He is getting that look of interest. I still don't know what he wants from me. I only know he wants Sasuke's bloodline.' Kei thought, walking closer to the barrier.

"Kei, get out of here now!" The Third Hokage exclaimed.

"Yeah, kid being around here not safe for a Genin, even if your skill for a rookie," One of the Anbu shouted.

"I don't care about the opinion of those who keep secrets from me like I'm some kind of kid who can't handle the truth," Kei said, kneeling on the ground beside the barrier." I won't leave until I know the truth, Father. Why do you want me?" She asked, placing a hand on the titles underneath her trying to find a way through the barrier.

"Lord Orochimaru should we do something about her," Tayuya asked.

"No, Tayuya, let her try and find a way through. Let's see how skilled she is," Orochimaru said, then looked at Kei."You're not needed at the moment, but I do have plans for you at this moment; you are not the number one priority."

Kei narrowed her eyes in thought, examining the barrier as Orochimaru returned to the Third Hokage.

'The barrier is made of flames, but I could possibly cancel it out using Ine of my just.' She thought, thinking about how she could get through.

"I never thought I'd get to face you in battle again," Orochimaru laughed.

"Knock it off, kid, and leave, " The Anbu with a black cloak said.

"He right the barrier can only be broken from the inside,' Another one said.

"If Lord Hokage takes out one of those Sound ninjas, then we could help, but you should leave even if he doesn't want you now. It's not safe to be here."

"You heard Lord Orochiamatu to get the girl and let her try to find a way through; let's just get this show on the road," Kidomaru said.

The four-sound ninja then grunted as they put up the second barrier on the inside of the first one that was put up.

Kei narrowed her eyes, seeing the obstacle was now two obstacles."Just be quiet, unlike you, the sad excuse for Anbu. I'm trying to think of a plan," She muttered.

"Hmpf. It doesn't look like I can get out of this one easily," The Hokage said.

"Of course, it won't be easy," Orochimaru said with a faint smirk."I know you. It would be a big bother if someone came here and got in the way, but who knows? Kei might make things interesting and find a way through," He said, glancing at Kei, who was studying the barrier.

The Third Hokage."For someone who is not crucial at the moment, you seem interested in her a lot."

The wind inside the barrier began blowing around as a cracking sound was heard from the titles underneath Orochimaru and the Third Hokage as they ran at each other.
