3rd person pov
arianna stood in the bar with wes, mindy, liv, and amber
"so what is she lie? the sister?" liv asked them
"sam? sam is so cool " he said with a bright smile and arianna laughed at the way he thought of her. it was clear she was like an older sister to him and she loved that..
"you only say that because she let you wear pokemon onesies to bed for a year" mindy said
"that's true, that's a true statement" chad said
"trust me , sam is not cool, her dad left her mom right? walks right out when taras eight, sams 13. sam started acting out , getting in trouble with the cops and then on sams 18th birthday, she leaves , ghosts them all" amber said
"are you serious right now amber? that's her sister" arianna stated
"maybe sams changed , i just don't want to see tara hurt again" she said and arianna scoffed heavily.
"such a fucking joke" arianna said and Mindy nudged her. she didn't want the girl to do anything she would regret even thought mindy knew that arianna wouldn't regret beating the shit out of amber and leaving her on the ground.
"so what you're protecting tara from her own sister?" wes asked
"someone has to" amber said and arianna shook her head
"Okay so no guys are good enough for her and now her families off-limits too?" wes said and arianna looked at amber
"mmm, motive. if i cant have her no one can" mindy said to wes.
"what?" wes asked
"we all know you have a crush on tara" mindy said and arianna nodded in agreement making chad laugh at her.
"we're all suspects" mindy said and arianna sighed as she ran a hand through her hair
"except liv" mindy spoke
"thank you" liv exclaimed
"wasn't a complement, you're too boring to be a psycho" arianna stated as she leaned against the pool table and chad laughed before they heard a mans voice and turned to see him looking at liv oddly
"hey liv, you want a real drink or you happy sitting at the kids table?"the man asked
"alright listen up uglier Michael Myers, it was a summer fling alright it meant nothing" chad said and arianna made eye contact with Mindy as they both thought the same thing but it didn't say it out loud, they didn't want to cause anything
"I'm sorry was I talking to you?" he asked as he got in chads face. arianna walked over to mindy as they watched the pair of them
"I don't fucking care who you're talking to" chad exclaimed
"liv lets go" he kept trying
"don't fucking talk to her" chad got mad and arianna stared at him
"I don't want to hear your voice" chad told him
"better shut the fuck up" the man said as he pulled a knife on chad and ariannas hand shot out to chads lower back. liv watched but didn't say anything, she knew it was only a matter of time before chad left her for arianna but she would hold on as long as she could.
"chad back up" arianna said and he backed up slowly away from the knife and his hand grabbed ariannas and Mindy looked at liv, she felt bad for the girl with the way arianna and chad were acting but she couldn't help but smile at the sight of the two of them.
"hey! get out of here or I'm calling the cops" the bartender called to them and arianna sighed under her breathe
"go" chad told the man
"ill see you soon sweetheart" the man exclaimed and he winked at arianna.
"if I cant have liv, ill just take your other girl" he told him and arianna shivered at the way he looked her up and down. chad looked at her and then at liv as he realized that even though he was protecting liv, he was treating anna more like a girlfriend then he was treating liv and he felt horrible about it.
"hey, man, fuck you" chad told him as he needed to get the last word in.
"you kids need to go too, lets go" she told them and they all walked out together
"do you see that shit?" chad asked and arianna nodded before they left the bar. arianna watched liv and chad talk to each other and she felt someone standing next to her making her turn and see mindy standing there.
"when are you going to get over him?" mindy asked her and she shrugged as she laid her head on her shoulder and laughed.
"probably never, I know I'm an idiot and I spend so much time just staring when I've had years but this is hard" she said
"admitting you're in love is hard?" mindy asked and arianna sighed.
"harder then I want it to be" she said as she sighed and then looked at the sky as she stared at it and Mindy stared at it with her.
"if its so hard, I say do it. tell him because you never know when you'll get the chance to and right now, our friends are being hunted and we almost died. you almost died anna and if you think that keeping it in and hiding it until you're on the verge of death is a good reason, its not. its a horrible reason and I shouldn't be the one telling you this but love hurts. its painful and sad and anger but I know that somewhere deep down, chad loves you just as much as you love him and it may hurt liv but you need to do this for yourself and if not for yourself, for him" mindy told her and anna nodded in agreement.
"thanks mindy" she said
"anytime, now I am going to the sheriffs station but I will see you later" she stated and she walked off leaving anna alone to think
what they would find after the sheriffs station and being questioned , whos know but arianna would have to face her feelings once and for all
