MAGNUS CHASE'S POV:
I was really proud of what me and Annabeth has done.
You probaly know that the Norse demigods have no safe place until they die, and that is seriously messed up. Conveniently I inherited a mansion, well Annabeth did but it really went to me, mortals think I'm dead. So me and Annabeth had a task, create a safe place for Norse demigods. And after 1 full year we have succeeded.
"Annabeth we did it!" I celebrated as me and Annabeth jumped and high fived each other.
She was smiling, Annabeth designed everything. It comes handy to have the Official Architect as Olympus as your sister. "Yeah Magnus we did."
Just pointers, we were celebrating in the garden. Alone.
We jumped around like little kids, much like we did when we were young, when we were innocent and free, when Mom was alive.
I smiled sadly at the memories, nostalgia hurts.
Then I remembered something, and I stopped our celebration half way. Annabeth sent me a confused glance.
"Uhm, how do we find Norse Demigods anyways?" I asked gritting my teeth.
Annabeth cursed in English, Ancient Greek, and Ancient Gregypnortin.
Ancient Gregypnortin is bassically all four dead languages combined, a slang for super secret stuff. And cusses.
"How could I forgor that! How could I be so stupid!" Annabeth scream ranted. If it weren't for me then she would definitely rant herself to death, but I stopped that.
"Hey Annabeth calm down, everybody makes mistakes. The thing about mistakes is that you gotta fix them, and you insulting yourself won't solve the problem. So put on your thinking hat and let's do this!" I say over enthuastically, but in a sassy way. I'm usually a peffimist but when it comes to cheering people you gotta be an optimist.
Annabeth calmed down, and then dissapeared. Literally. She took her Yankees cap and dissapeared as she put it on her head.
"Annabeth!" I called.
Suddenly something came up behind me. "Boo!" Annabeth screamed as I screamed, startled.
"Annabeth! What the frigg?"
"You told me to put my thinking cap on, so I did," she said sticking out her tongue. "Anyways, enough joking. We need to fix this problem."
I nodded. The Norse demigods have been in most danger ever since the Demigod Danger Protocol started. Since Norse demigods don't know their demigods until they die, most of them get captured. The Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians are planning a rescue mission for all the captured, but came to a problem when there's no place for the Norse to stay. That's where me and Annabeth comes in, we designed this to be safe from mortals as possible, but easy to enter to untrained demigods. Our question is how do we help clueless Norse demigods without them having been captured and detained.
Me and Annabeth ran inside to our little hangout. Chases only, no Non-Chases allowed.
The room was the attic. It had a rectangle shape, we entered from the middle of the room. In one corner we had bookshelves filled with books in English, Old Norse, and Ancient Greek. In another corner there was a circular rug which we used to refreshen and be childish, closer to the wall were Legos, because actual proffesionals use Legos to prototype. One corner was the storage and in the last corner (the corner we're in) had a small carpet and a short table in the middle where we plan. We decorated the walls with Chase family photographs and other stuff, and one mirror.
Annabeth handed me a notebook and pencil as we sat down on the floor in Criss Cross Applesauces. Of course I had to right, Annabeth was dyslexic. Even though she's a smart- yeah not trying to get in trouble here, so no. I won't finish that sentence.
