Today I decided to start packing up everything, I got an email back from the agent this morning regarding my apartment they ended up going through my signed paper work straight after it was sent off yesterday and turns out I can move in early then expected they said ill have the keys by tomorrow.
I wasn't rushing my packing since my parents house wasn't far and I could just keep grabbing my boxes along the way I mainly had to pack up everything in my room I cant help but to feel a little sad but at the end of the day I can visit them any time it just takes me a little while to get used to change but ill get over it.
Usually I would go out but I had no time this weekend, I was grabbing my clothes out of my wardrobe when my phone started to ring I go to reach for my phone to see my sisters boyfriend Noah calling me I furrow my eyebrows in confusion my sister and Noah have been together since they were 15 his been apart of the family for a really long time now I've never had a problem with him his a good guy and treats my sister like a princess as he should. "Hello" I say as I put my phone to my ear and continue cleaning "Hey Gabs how's it going" "yeah everything's been good" "Sorry to bother I heard you found an apartment and your really busy packing but I have some news for you" "No its all good, what's up" "I was thinking of proposing to Isabella" I drop my stuff and go outside to my balcony "OMG NOAH!! that's so exiting!!" he laughs on the other end "Yeah I've got everything planned I definitely know how your sister is being high maintenance I got her dream proposal set up booked and the exact ring she's been wanting" "Aww that's amazing, when were you thinking of proposing" he clears his throat "Tonight".
I honestly don't know how my life became full of surprises I've started going out a lot more, found new friends, bought my first apartment and now my sisters getting engaged its all so crazy to me and I'm so beyond happy for my sister and her boyfriend. I spoke to mom right after I got off the phone and she already knew about it and next week my parents were hosting an engagement dinner.
I ended up packing most of my stuff there was only a couple things left which is fine I'm very happy with how productive I've been, I had some dinner had a long awaited shower once again and fell asleep.
The next day
It was now Monday I had the day off work and I was currently on my way to get my keys for my new apartment I was actually really exited, as a kid I always wondered how it would be to own my own place to have the feeling of going to a grocery store to fill up the fridge to clean my own kitchen and to light up a delicious smelling candle with a warm cup of tea and watch a tv series alone all nice and cosy on my couch. to me doing all this for a change meant fending for myself and I was up for a good life challenge even if that meant living alone that's ok with me I'm sure Myah will be over every weekend without a fail my home will for sure be her second.
Its been 2 hours since I got given the keys and my parents have been such help bless them I'm so beyond grateful to have them in my life they've been going back and fourth all morning helping me with all the boxes.
As I was organising my bathroom Myah called asking how everything is we haven't spoken since Friday she's left me alone knowing how busy I've been with the move we spoke for a little but she had to go she mentioned her and Nick were going out to eat somewhere in an hour after I got off the phone I spent the next few hours again unpacking the import things. I thought of doing the rest gradually throughout the week, mum dropped me off some dinner since I had no time to cook she's a life saver I most likely would of went the rest off the night starving.
I had a shower I was desperate hours of moving boxes getting dust all over me and sweating it was pretty gross, I had the rest of the week off my boss new about me moving and was nice enough to give me time off to settle in and get everything done.
A/N: Hi!! how's everyone?, this chapters a little boring not that interesting but I thought to add in some different context into this one. I'll be back with more interesting chapters soon enjoy. Xx
