TATUM ROSE RILEY would consider herself to be the unluckiest person in the world.
Most of the time she felt as if she should be dead, and not in a suicidal way.
From her mom's constant complaints about how she was a week overdue(see even fetus Tatum knew it was better in her mom's womb than out here), there were also complications with her birth that caused her to be dead for five minutes before being resuscitated by the doctors.
Not only was she named after her dead aunt; which only meant she was destined for an eternity of doom and despair(with a sprinkle of murder added in there), but she was also born the same day her aunt was brutally murdered.
Which wasn't the worst part.
If you asked her, the worst part was being born at 11:30 pm, the approximate time of death of the late Tatum Riley.
So her parents naming her after her dead aunt on the day she died and around the same time she died didn't seem like the best idea.
It didn't help that she was different from the rest of her peers. Some of her unsettling tendencies raised some flags(the kitty incident when she was in kindergarten and various others)for her parents and teachers, which brought on the onslaught of various doctors and therapists.
Then there was the fact that not one but both of her parents were survivors from the original Woodsboro murders, that unbeknownst to her put a big red target on her back.
G̶A̶L̶E̶ ̶R̶I̶L̶E̶Y̶ ̶— Gale Weathers didn't expect a multitude of things after the third spree of murders, this time that happened Hollywood, again inspired by the Woodsboro murders.
She didn't expect to get married to the love of her life after breaking up with him.
She didn't expect her career to take such a nosedive after choosing to settle down in Woodsboro, so that said love of her life could grow his career because it was his turn.
She sure as hell didn't expect to find out she was unexpectedly pregnant at 39. She and love of her life never really mentioned kids, they figured if it was meant to happen then it would. They never stressed over it. But it seemingly out of nowhere, it did happen. All thanks to the New Year's Eve party of 2002.
She wasn't not happy about having a baby but the thought of doing it at her age sounded exhausting(and it was).
The thought alone caused her to almost strangle Dewey. (Dewey did, however have to restrain her from actually strangling the doctor when he referred to her as geriatric)
