Wheeljacks pov
I got off my ship and walked through the portal to get to the base. I appeared in the base with everyone waiting there except Ratchet. "Where's Ratchet?" I asked. "Ratchet is sick right now he's in his berthroom." Optimus replied. My optics widened in shock and I ran past everyone to Ratchets berthroom. Once I reached the door I knocked. "Come in." Ratchet said. I slowly opened the door to see Ratchet sat on his berth with a few energon cubes and a bucket. "Ratchet are you okay?" I asked. "I'm fine Wheeljack it's just a virus I'll be fine." He said I nodded my helm and left. "Wheeljack come on there's a mission." Bulk said running towards me. "Sorry Bulk I can't." I said pulling out my broken swords. "Awwww ok but when you get your swords fixed?" He asked. "Okay Bud." I said as he ran away.
10 minutes later
The team was still on the mission while I was working on the computers. Ratchet walked in weakly. "Ratchet you need to rest." I said. Ratchet just stood there then his optics turned off and he fell. I grabbed him before he hit the ground. I brought my servo to where his spark was to feel nothing his spark wasn't beating.
I woke up and ran to Ratchets room with tears filling my optics. I slammed the door open to see Ratchet sitting on his berth reading a data. He looked up at me confused until he saw my face and his optics widened in concern. "Wheeljack what's wrong?" He asked getting up and hugging me. I hugged back and replied "I thought you died." He look at me. "And why did you think that?" He asked again. "Because I had a nightmare where you died." I said. He wiped the tears from my faceplates and kissed me. "It was just a nightmare I still here." He said. "Can I sleep in here?" I asked. Ratchet chuckled. "Of course you can." He replied. We headed over to the berth and laid down Ratchet snuggling into me. We soon both drifted off into recharge.
