“What are you doing here? Don't you have a schedule today?” Taehyung asked Jungkook after bringing Hylie to her school.
He knew Jungkook because they met after that incident. Jungkook was the one who somewhat saved him. However, there are so many things that he dislikes about Jungkook.
Jungkook loves trouble, he does illegal stuff often but freely can escape because of his money. Also, Jungkook plays with people's hearts. He dates random people if he feels like doing it, but once he gets bored, he will dump them. At least, he spoiled them anyway.
“Why are you taking care of that kid? She keeps interrupting us.” Jungkook replied, annoyingly.
He understands that Jungkook hates kids because he believes they are annoying, but Hylie isn't a stranger to Jungkook. He knew her because Taehyung usually takes care of her. The only reason why Jungkook hates her was that she often interrupted them during their “ehem” moment.
“How many times do I have to tell you about that? She's my nephew, of course, I will take care of her. You know how busy her parents were.” Taehyung retorted with a sigh.
“Then, they should hire a nanny instead. They aren't paying you anything.” Jungkook replied.
“She's my sister's daughter, Jungkook. We both know their situation, they don't have stable work, and I would rather not add stress to them.” Taehyung explained, arranging the groceries he bought earlier.
“You really going to say that as if your situation isn't that bad.” Jungkook mocked him.
Jungkook was right, his situation isn't better compared to his sister's. If that incident didn't occur in his life, he wouldn't be living like this.
“You know, you should be living better than this lifestyle if you just accepted my offer, right? I don't understand why you don't like it.” Jungkook stated.
The offer Jungkook was talking about was to pretend to be his fake lover. Jungkook wanted to piss his family off just to get revenge on them after what they'd done to him.
“I don't want to be your toy, Jungkook.” Taehyung replied.
“But you're okay being my fuck buddy.” Jungkook sneered.
Well, even though Jungkook dated a lot of people, he didn't do sex with them. He just literally played with them to create an issue against him. That's one of his moves to make his parents mad at him.
He watched Jungkook hold his chin and smirk.
“Taehyung, I told you, you have to play along with me until I get the revenge I am looking for. You don't have to do anything, you just have to pretend, and that's it.”
Jungkook took both of his hands while staring at him.
“After that, I can promise to give you a better life. You don't have to deal with this situation. And I will help you to make those bastards pay like you wanted to. You know things that I can, Taehyung. Just tell me what you wanted me to do with them, and I'll grant you your wish.”
Jungkook kissed the back of Taehyung's hand. It was Jungkook's piercing stares that made him feel a lump in his throat, making Taehyung gulp down.
