As i went through the dark path i noticed someone...
I thought to ignore the sounds but slowly i heard painful grunts
Like someone needed help and was in pain...i didn't wanted to get in trouble but was so curious that i gave upSlowly i approached the area where i heard the sounds from...
Soon a man came into the view,i couldn't see his face,
He had a huge build and messy hair after a moment of observing him i realised that he was bleeding alot...his whole shirt was stained red, indicating he had lost a lot of blood...
I was trembling out of fear...i was never scared of blood but when i noticed the gun shots i was startled...he was breathing heavily and i knew he didn't have much time before getting fainted. In a few seconds i removed his coat and shirt, tore the sleeves of the shirt and applied pressure on the wounds,
I found a rope nearby and decided to tie it around the waist so that the pressure is maintained...he was in alot of pain and i couldnt see him like that...all tho my mind was screaming at me not to help a man bleeding and almost dying on the street but my heart it just couldn't see someone suffering without any help...
In a quick manner i decided to take him home and covered his bare chest with jacket...
Some how i was able to make him stand, thankfully he was conscious and was able to walk a bit...since my house was nearby i could take him in and help him out...
As i lifted him,he let out a deep grunt, and for some reason i found it hot, i know i am crazy to think that in a situation like this but comeon anyone would get melted by a deep grunt/moan...
While i was carrying him towards house he slowly spoke in a small and deep voice," you shouldn't. Help. Strangers"
He was in pain but how can someone who's gonna die if not treated say that!!! I know i shouldnt but I'd rather help someone than leave them die...
I replied back in a calm tone, "save your energy stranger , you need it to be alive...we are almost there".Thankfully everyone in my neighborhood was asleep, as we reached my door i slowly made him lean on the wall and opened the door...i tab inside to take out the wheelchair that i had...i had broken my leg a year back...it was quite a big fracture so my parents bought the wheelchair...soon i was alright so i kept it in the storeroom...who knew this day would come...
I was quick to find it and brought it out...i made him sit on it and took him to my bedroom...i helped him lay down and remove all the clothings except ofc his boxers...he did nothing but look at me as if i was some piece of art he was admiring...
I pushed that thought aside and headed to my bathroom to pick the first-aid...
Since i used to volunteer at hospitals i knew a bit about first aids...I took my tweezers and began to head for bullet wound on his arm, at first i was shaking but i couldn't delay more as the more i delay that more are the chances of him dying and i couldnt have let that happen...
I relaxed my mind and steadied my hand and tried to pull out the bullet...
Finally i took out the bullet...cleaned it with alcohol, stitched it and applied the bandaids to it...i was afraid that pulling out the bullet from his stomach wouldn't be as easy it was on his arm so i gave him a Sharpie, " keep it in between your teeth and bite it as hard as possible when you feel pain"
He opened his mouth and kept it between them...
I then proceeded again and this time it was so painful that his whole body jolted in pain...i successfully took out the bullet but he started to breathe heavily, the pain took a heavy toll on him... swiftly i secured it but i knew he needed strength...
He was asleep so i had left him there and headed for the medical store to take some glucose and other meds that could help him...
