I felt a thud against my stomach and smiled. The baby kicked. I grabbed James' hand and placed it on my bare stomach. He opened his eyes and sat up straight. "Did you feel that?" I asked, smiling like a maniac. James nodded. This was the first time my little angel kicked so that you could feel it on the outside. James kneeled down beside me on the floor in front of the couch. He smiled up at me and kissed my hand. I smiled back. "How far along are you?" James asked. "Six months," I replied.

James sat there for a while before looking up at me with a smile. "She is going to be beautiful just like her mother," he said. I looked down at my belly and hid my blush with my long, electric blue hair. "Thank you," I replied softly. James chuckled as he stood up. He moved my hair out of my face and kissed my forehead.

"What would you like for dinner love?" I asked James. He shrugged and helped me up off of the couch. I wobbled to the kitchen and looked at the small amount of food we had in the fridge and pantry. James saw me frown. " Go get dressed up," He told me as he closed the pantry. I looked at him confused. He pointed in the direction of my room. "Don't ask. Just go."I went in my room and put on my white and blue sundress and my blue flats, and braided my hair.

I went to the living room to see James plopped on the couch tossing the keys in the air.

I walked out the front door. "Come on James!" He glanced up then stood and followed me to the truck. James ran around to my side of the truck and opened the door for me. He took my hand and helped me into the truck. "Thank you," I said smiling. "You're welcome my lady," James said playfully. He shut the door and went to his side and got in. He started the car and put a heavy metal CD into the stereo.I looked out the window as we drove down the road. I looked at James and grinned. I turned the radio down. "Where are we going?" I asked. James glanced at me and smiled. "You will see when we get there," James replied. I sighed and went back to looking out the window.
