Prologue - Welcome

Authors note - This is a very short prologue, I wrote this while I was exhausted so this isn't proof read by me but by my lovely friend who I am doing a challenge with 1-800-CHOKEONDICC :]

You were a normal human. A normal human with a normal family, normal friends, a normal life. Well, it all seemed normal to you, atleast. And you thought you would continue on with your normal day-to-day routine until a Friday rolled around.

The sun shined brightly through your curtains as birds chirped loudly outside your window. You yawned and rolled over away from the window, contemplating if you should go back to bed or not. After all, you don't go to highschool anymore and dropped out of college 2 years in. Now, you work at the local Cafe part-time and make enough money to pay rent plus afford stuff for yourself.

You decided to get up early this morning, slowly sitting up and rubbing the sleep from your eyes. You blinked your eyes, slowly adjusting to how bright your room was because of the sun, and reached over to grab your phone on your nightstand, though your hand only came in contact with wood. You looked to your nightstand confused, and realized your phone wasn't there. You could've sworn you charged it yesterday.

You began flipping over the blankets to see if you accidentally fell asleep while watching something, and soon you heard a thud on the carpeted floor below your bed. Just as you suspected, you had fallen asleep watching something and this resulted in your phone probably being dead.
You reached down and picked up your phone, sitting on your bed and turning it on. 17%. Atleast it isn't dead. You sighed and reached over to your charger, plugging your phone in. You then stood up and stretched before exiting your room and walking into the bathroom to brush your teeth.
As you brushed your teeth, you heard your phone buzzing from your bedroom. You quickly ran to pick up your phone to see that it was your friend Yui that was calling you. She was your friend since middle school, a shy yet energetic girl who had a weird obsession with video games and anime, though you didn't mind.

You quickly messaged Yui that you'd call her back and finished brushing your teeth and then called her back. She seemed as cheerful as ever, which you still don't understand how she enjoys mornings but that's beyond your understanding. As you and Yui continued talking as you got ready, she began telling you about this vampire anime with these 6 vampire brothers. Something about their last names being Saka-something. She seems really obsessed with one that has a teddybear though. You'd have to watch it with her later.

Soon enough, your call with Yui came to an end and as you both said your goodbyes, you felt as if something was off. You weren't sure why you felt like something was wrong, but something just felt wrong. You decided to ignore it, and just as you grabbed your bag and stepped outside, closing the door behind you, you felt dizzy. Everything started spinning, and soon enough, you fell unconscious on your doorstep.

And when you finally came to, you found yourself in a court room of sorts, and infront of you were 7 seats in a line with 4 of them occupied. Once you stood up, you were greeted by a man with dark red hair and tan skin smiling at you.

"Welcome to the Devildom, [Y/N]."
