Leaning her head on her hand her hair falling from behind her ear as she stood at her desk, Sage sighed for what felt like the hundredth time as she talked to one of the many party vendor's on the phone.

"The center pieces must have ghost orchids, this isn't something that's debatable."she demanded with a clipped tone to the florist then hang up.

Lawyer turned party planner Sage didn't realize how much it took to pull a party together and surely didn't anticipate how much time away from her actual job she would be taking.

Sage stretched her arms pushing the standing desk back at normal length, "I cannot wait for this to be over."she mumbles out to the air.

She was so tired of putting in hours and hours in work, but not the work she was really here for. It's been an entire month since the initial meeting with Rockington and the start of the banquet party planning has started full throttled and it feels like all the 11 members who intended those meeting sleep here.

Everyone was set for they're own personal task then they group together on Friday after work hours to discuss progress and exchange ideas, they even went to the length and made a work group chat. Which Sage hated simply because Laurel, Justice lapped dog assistant would speak in the chat as if she was only talking to Justice and no one else.

Luckily today's meeting was cancelled. Sage secretly appreciated since she was tired of the extra work on Fridays.

Looking around her junky office, she thought deeply about how the month has been. Her brain drifted off to Justice and she scold herself immediately after.

Sage sighed outwardly, she had time to process the fact that her chances of getting him back were slim to zero because he had a girlfriend. She was indifferent with pursuing him and because of that fact she had a game over mind set now.

Sage wanted to win Justice back fairly and seeing that he is committed to April it made things more complicated.

She contemplated packing up and going back home, but she knew that would mean quitting entirely and fully coming to terms that this was all a waste of time and she wasn't ready to face that truth just yet.. even if it dead smack in front of her.

Reasons why she indulged herself in work and work only even the work she hated.

"Knock knock," Niko and Ambree stood at the door with devious looks on their faces.

She furrowed her brows and looked at the clock and then back at them them weirdly, "Hey guys what's going on?"

Niko had been her crutch for the month, he has shown her kindness and honest friendship. He made her reality with Justice less painful.

While Ambree and her ended up getting close after the bumping into each other at the gym. This making the work trio who actually hang outside of work.
