chapter 3

 Chris had to return to HQ, but Jaune went to  Vale, helping his sister train with a swat-issued rifle at the shooting range to help her get better in her marksmanship.

Jaune: Jane, you are off by a centimeter.

 Jane: easier said than done, your. S.W.A.T., you trained every day, and you guys do drills.

Jaune: that may be true, but the huntsman  also does the same thing that Swat does 

Jane: Like what?

Jaune: We both responded to an emergency that regular cops can't handle, so we train for things like that.

Jane: I never thought Swat and the huntsman did the same thing.

Jaune: well, you don't see us fight Grimms, but if they are in the city and the huntsman can't make it, we go in to help.

Jane: well, it's nice to have a badass older brother in swat, and I want to thank you for helping me get into Beacon.

Jaune: I did it because I saw the potential in you, so I asked hicks and Hondo a favor.

Jane: can I ask you a favor.....

Jaune: yeah, what is it?

Jane: can you Please let me drive your bike?

Jaune: Jane what did I tell you?

Jane: yeah but there is this guy i want to impress

Jaune: who?

Jane: Steve Rogers  he is second year at beacon.

Jaune: okay but not a scratch on her and after you are done fill up the tank when you are done with my bike.

Jane: your the best bro thank you!!

Jaune: yeah sure, now back to your target practice.

Jane nods and went back to her shooting and jaune was happy until he got a text from his father that he wants to talk to him about something.

Jaune: that will be all today jane something came up.

Jane: oh okay bro is it work?

Jaune: no its father he wants to talk about something..

Jane: don't we both know that when he wants to "talk" to you he is in trouble with the White fangs or with Jackass Schnee.

Jaune: i know don't worried about it. just focus on your training and school.

Jane: while you risk your swat career hell no. you need to stop being dads get out of jail free  card  and let him take the fall for once.

Jaune: you don't get it.

Jane: Jaune what did you do?

Jaune: before i became swat i was on his and his partners  payroll.

Jane: you were.... why haven't told me.

Jaune: I know what i did was wrong but i didn't know what they were doing to people that was why i reported to general Ironwood and the council but they didn't do anything that was why i left.

Jane: at least you left...

Jaune: yeah look i want what is best for you and our other sister.

(in this fanfic jaune is the oldest sibling)

Jane: i know and i am grateful for what you have done for us.... have you talk to mom?

Jaune: no i haven't work has kept me busy and dad keeps her away from me from her.

Jane: she misses you jaune and asked for you..

Jaune: I want to talk to her but i don't know yet but i got to go.. 

Jaune leaves to see what his father wants. back at HQ were where jaunes team was looking at the data of Bree's phone

Hicks: What we got?

Deacon: turns out that bree had been talking to high dealers, C.I, and to Nicolas arc

Hondo: anything else?

deacon: turns there is still investigation going on... turns out Bree and some specialist are being question for their arrest and bust on the white fangs and other criminals...

tan: you guys won't believe this the place we raided is actually a Atlassian safe house and i asked an old C.I.  he told me that the one niners, golden boys, and hammers have been increase guns, drugs and dust.

Luca: sounds like the atlas was supplying them for a turff war 

Hondo: and the people of vale is going to be in the middle of it all.

luca: wait a van was reported stolen at a SDC Wearhouse in  down town vale. they stole some explosive and other dust....

Hondo: get jaune and tell them we are on the move.

but little did they know jaune alread pulled over the driver as he went to the window he saw his father in the driver side and a man with his hoodie up

Jaune: dad..

Nicholas: son...

Jaune: what are you doing driving this van..

Nicholas: im doing a favor for a friend...

Jaune: i need to see your paperwork, driver license, and prove of insurance.

Nicholas: do i have too

Jaune: yes you do i am a officer of the law and you have to follow them.. and sir hoodie down and let me see your hands.

Nicholas: are detaining us?

Jaune: sir put your hoodie down now..

Nicholas: I'm leavening 

He turns on the van.

Jaune: no you are not... this 27 david i need back up at 34 western street.. sir put your hoodie down sir..

then the man shot jaune two times jaune falls down.

Nicholas: Adam!!

Adam: drive.

Nicholas drives off leaving  his son to bleed on the street. but there was some people that saw everything and they went to help jaune. as the rest  of 20 squad was getting ready they were waiting for jaune.

Hondo: has anyone seen jaune?

Deacon: i tried calling him.. Chris?

Chris: nothing.

as they were putting their gear one Cortez comes in.

Cortez: we have an officer down!!

Hondo: do we know who?

Cortez: its jaune. he stop the van that was stolen i guess he didn't know that it was stolen.

Chris: how bad!!

Cortez: its bad...he is in surgery  now.

as they went to the hospital they waited new about jaune but chris was worried about jaune the most. at beacon jane was with her friends and team were until she saw commander hicks.

Jane: commander what can i do for you? did jaune forget his rifle again i'll go

Hicks: jane... 

Jane looks at hick she could tell something was wrong as did her friends.

Hicks: i have some bad news your brother was shot he is at the hospital now he is in critical condition... 

Jane: do you know who did this to my brother?

Hicks: no we don't but we are looking in to it... im sorry jane...
