THE NEW AND TRUE IDENTITY

Identity has to do with recognition. A factor that distinguishes a single individual in a crowd. Simply put, identity is a mark. A mark here can also be interpreted as a seal. And anything that has a seal placed on it, benefits two things;
Identity
Protection
Every seal used on its product serves as a stamp to give a legitimate proof of the ownership to whosoever manufactures the product. This same seal serves as a protection to its product by separating the inner quality and quantity of the product from the surrounding contaminant.
And so does the Greek definition for the transliterated word for “seal” which is sphragizō put it as a stamp for both security and preservation. This definition is exactly what it is when you pick any certified and approved product on the shelf of a supermarket. Such advertised item has well labelled description for you both the buyer to know what you’re picking as well as preserving its content so as to maintain its quality throughout it's the shelf life.
This short business oriented intro is to open the curtain to the subject of the seal upon us as individual (especially the born again Christian). Likening everything to that relationship between that marketed product and its seal, we shall take a deeper look into the kind of seal place on us as humans as well.
Before we begin, let’s talk about the bitter truth which is that; Every individual without the true acknowledgement and acceptance of the LORD EJSUS CHRIST, has no seal on him or her. Why is it so? Well, we can all testify to this simple question that we all have asked before, WHO AM I? Anything that can have such a question posed to it gives the evident that that thing is not well known, in other words it has no identity (no seal). A recognized item basically means a well-known item; such item will definitely be handled well and used appropriately, otherwise it will certainly show the ignorance of the handler. In the same manner is anyone with a well-recognized ID, and the question PLEASE WHO ARE YOU will not be asked.
When we ourselves asked about our identity, it proves that we do not have that deep knowledge about ourselves. And that is a sign of the separation from our creator. A product is well labelled only by its producer. And certainly, a man long away from his creator will be hanging around with no boldly encryption on him.
This was my story some years ago. Disturbing my mind with the question WHO AM I? WHAT AM I DOING ON THIS EARTH? Those question reveal my:
My emptiness; only a fully filled vessel gets labelled
My nakedness; no designed label
My barrenness; no valuable content
My weakness: no quality to prove me worth
This is the case of anyone without a close relation with the LORD JESUS CHRIST. JESUS CHRIST fills a person, clothes him, make him useful which definitely require for him to be sealed. Therefore, a person born of GOD should have the answer to that question; WHO ARE YOU? Apostle Peter being influenced by the HOLY SPIRIT told us that yes we used to have no identity, but that story has change the moment we got born by GOD. 1Peter 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
And let’s take note of this that without identity there’s no Purpose. Assume you’re doing your shopping and in one corner on a mantelpiece is this eye catching transparent glass containing marble-like quantities but without any form of label on it. They may be nice in their container but with the lack of identification to satisfies the buyers knowledge will only turn them as decor that will be admired by passers. Appearance doesn’t just commission a purpose. A true identity stamp or rank set an item into its useful field and makes way for its purpose. Anyone who consequently comes to JESUS CHRIST, get upon himself a certified and recognized rank that makes the individual significant in the Kingdom of GOD.
I will like to be of help here in leading you to the LORD JESUS CHRIST if you do not have the sort of relationship I have been explaining so far. That’s the first and foremost step in getting your identity and certainly your purpose. Please sincerely pray these words.
HEAVENLY FATHER, THANK YOU FOR THE BREATH OF LIFE THAT HAS ENABLE ME TO MEET THIS DAY AND GREAT TIME. TODAY I ACKNWOLEDGE YOUR LOVE TOWARDS ME PROVED BY YOUR DEATH ON THE CROSS FOR ME. I CONFESS YOU AS MY LORD AND SAVIOUR AND BELIEVE THAT I AM SAVE AS I DENOUNCE ALL SINS AND PARTAKE IN YOUR RESURRECTION. I PRAY FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT TO COME INTO MY SPIRIT AND MAKE MY HEART HIS ABODE. THANK YOU FOR MY SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST THE LORD’S NAME I PRAY. AMEN
If you prayed that prayer honestly, I would like to be the first brother to welcome you into the family of GOD’s beloved children. So happy to have in this family.

WHAT IS THE IDENTITY OF A BORN AGAIN PERSON (A CHRISTIAN)?
Like we clearly understood that the identity of a thing is concealed in its seal, so does every born again individual has this unique seal that GOD has placed on him or her. This seal is upon us even you who just join the family. This seal is the sweet HOLY SPIRIT Himself; GOD Himself. Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that HOLY SPIRIT of promise,
As an adopted child purchased from this wicked world in our sins with the precious blameless blood of CHRIST (1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price… 1 Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot), GOD sealed us with a legal identity that we are HIS. The HOLY SPIRIT is the seal of our salvation containing our full description and also rendering protection to us till CHRIST returns to pick us on the shelf of this world.

OUR IDENTITY
Making that clear that our true identity is in/ with the HOLY SPIRIT, it will be very wise of us to look and discover in HIM the writing He engraved on our heart because of HIS presence in us.
An identity has four vital elements;
1. Name
2. Origin
3. Manner or character
4. Constituent or composition.
