I zipped up my bag and adjusted my sunglasses so they looked nice resting on my head, also adjusting my skirt to lay right. (Little visual for you! If you have short hair imagine the sunglasses placed how it is in the photo 🫶)

I rushed down the stairs as the sound of chatting became louder. "I'm ready!" I gleamed placing my suitcase beside the couch. The three girls adjusted their heard toward my direction and their eyes lit up. "You look so pretty Y/N!" exclaimed Marcy, the other two nodded. Sasha grabbed her keys from off the coffee table and waved them to us signaling it was time for us to go, we all placed our belongings in the trunk and sat in the car as we started to blast F/S (Favorite Song).
"Are you all excited to go to the boardwalk?" Anne asked as she turned her head to the three of us. Sasha smirked and screamed "HELL YEAH!" We all giggled at the blonde girls antics as we sped up on the high way arriving to our destination by the minutes. Me and Marcy chatted all the ride there until we both turned our attention to a large colorful sign reading, " WELCOME TO MAYWOOD BEACH! 🌊". Marcy's eyes practically twinkled at the sight of the sign and began to squeal out of excitement.
As Anne parked Marcy quickly unbuckled her seat and ran out of the car with the umbrella and stabbing it on a vacant piece of the beach. Sasha rolled her eyes and carried all the heavy items from the trunk and started walking over to over hyper Marcy. Anne grabbed the rest of the bags and went to go sit in her sun chair. I grappled my purse and ran over to the three. By the time Y/N had dropped her belongings on the blanketed surface that was slightly covered in sand bits form Marcy frantically running around in excitement Sasha had already started tanning while Anne had started putting on her sunscreen. An idea popped into my head and I snickered as I whisper my idea to Marcy. Marcy nods and grabs her sand pail and runs over to the ocean scooping a bucket of water from the ocean floor and runs back handing it to me. I hide the bucket away from Anne and Sasha and place food coloring in an extra bottle of sunscreen. I took the sunscreen and walked over to Anne who was sitting in her chair, " Anne, you forgot to put sunscreen on your face here let me do it for you!" "Ok!" I squish a glob of red sunscreen into my hands and place it on Anne as it slowly turned her red. "All done!" "Thanks N/N!" I nod as I hand Marcy the sand pail. Marcy and me scoot over quietly to Sasha laying sun tanning with her sunglasses on. I whisper " 3...2...1.. GO!" Me and Marcy throw the water on Sasha and start sprinting away to the ocean as we hear a faint scream from two girls. Me and Marcy laugh but then we hear footsteps coming closer. I slowly turn my head to find a red Anne and a soaking Sasha. I hold in my laugh but fail and burst into a fit as I'm tackled by Anne and Marcy is tackled by Sasha. We all start laughing at each other and I just think about how I wish everyday was like this.
