"wait whats your name, my name is cameron knight"

"sarah-reynolds" i said all in one breath. i didnt wait for his response as i quickly ran down the hallway.

No one has ever stood up for me ever, not to mention a boy. So you can see the bit of shock im in. "cameron" i whispered. he have never talk to me before, but i did see him around school with his three friends, everyone knew them they're like the bad boys of the school. They were at the top of the social ladder if not higher with the leader being John Hammock.

I always hid in the shadows making sure never to get in his sight or his friends. John was one of the hottest boys in school you can say, being over 6ft tall with black hair and blue eyes, or so i've heard, i was never close to see anyways. rumors are he spent most of his life in jail, well who knows i dont believe in gossip unless i get it from the number one source.

I make sure never to get on anyone badside which is mostly why i keep to myself or when lunch time is here i spend it in the library.

when i burst the door open in first period everyone turned my way, i quickly put my head down and hurried to the farthest seat at the back of the class. Hoping the teacher dont say anything i quickly took a seat and put my head down.

"Ms. reynolds" i heard my teacher say. I slowly lift up my head and whispered "yes".

"this will be the first and last time i tell you this. do not ever be late in my class again. understand?".

I quickly shook my head yes, then put my head down. i have never been talk to like that by a teacher, i have always been the first to be in class ready to lear, so as you can see that was the first and last time it will happen.

"dont worry about her, she's just not getting enough at night" the person whispered, averding me away from my thoughts. I looked where the voice came from and saw a beautiful girl with long red hair and hazel eyes.

"hi my name is maya hayes, i just moved here" she whispered.

" umm sarah r-reynolds" i said. no one has ever tried to talk to me before, everyone just assumed i was the weird nerd girl, most of it coming from rumors spread by chloe.

maya looked like she belongs with the popular crowd, especially to pretty to be talking to me.

"sarah, sarah" mayas snapping fingers brougt me out my daze.

"yeah" i whispered.

"you buzzed out for a second there" sarah laughed.

"sorry i tend to do that sometimes" i said giving her a small smile.

the bell ring. i grabbed my bag and walked out of class, making my way towards my algebra class.

"hey sarah" i heard maya screaming behind me.

"can i sit with you at lunch" she said out of breath.

"yeah sure" i said smiling.

I turned around and made my way towards second period. i could not stop smiling. i finally had a friend , wow that actually sounded sad to say. not watching where i was going i bumped into a hard chest and fell on the floor.

"s-sorry" i whispered. i looked up and saw john hammock cold blue piercing eyes staring at me.

"next time watch where you're going" he snarled.

I looked down and walk towards my class without a word. it just had to be him, i tried so hard to stay under the radar and now i know he has it out for me.

god what did i do to deserve this.
