Part 5: Scare

*Time Skip A Week*

The last couple of days that i've been working with Jed have been really fun. He's sometimes annoying to be around but i find a lot of people annoying. Today is Friday and i have Fridays off, i was planning on going to my friend Evie's house to help her move. She planning on going to collage and i couldn't be more happy for her.
    As i drove into Evie's driveway i saw Jason coming out of her house going to have a smoke with Moni. (Moni is Evie's mom) Moni had her Blonde curly hair up in a bun and the sun was shooting directly into her brown eyes. She had on a a red silk robe that had a yellow small daisy's all around and a slit on the side that shows off her thigh, meanwhile Jason was wearing a white tank top with basketball shorts on. His raven colored hair in the sun almost looked purple.

When i got out the car a raspy yet sweet voice yelled a "Hello dear, how've you been? I haven't seen you in a while." Moni said as she gave me a tight hug. "Hey moni i've been good busy working ever since my boss gave me a big assignment at work."
"That's good to hear, taking care of yourself?" I've been through a lot with Moni, ever since i was 7 i've been in and out of foster care and Moni's taken me in a couple times, she's always looked out for me she was kinda like my mom. "Yea i've been taking care of myself, i'm gonna go and help Evie pack."
"Alright bye honey." Moni said as she gave me a kiss on the cheek. "No hello to me?" Jason said in a confused and offended tone and i just smiled at him annoyingly while walking inside.

While i was walking into the living room i felt two hands reach around my waist putting me in the air. "whoa, whoa, whoa Jason put me down!" i basically yelled annoyed and scared he was gonna drop me, Jason is in pretty good shape but i don't trust him not to drop me.
"No not until you give me the proper hello i deserve!"
"Ugh ok whatever just put me down asshole." He then puts me down and give me a big hug.
"Ughhhh i hate hugs."
"You love them from me." He said in a goofy tone. Me and Jason have been through a lot together. Me and him met when i was five he was 6, i was living with my mom in the this random motel and he was living in the same motel with his cousins and grandparents. We just happen to meet there during the summer. A couple weeks later Evie and her two brothers plus her mom were driving by and stopped at the same motel. We ended up becoming friends and we've stayed friends all of these years later.

"What's with all the commotion?" Said a girl with dirty blondie hair and green eyes in a cheerful tone laughing a little by the scene she had just witnessed.
"Y/n wouldn't give me a hug." Jason said is a hurt tone with his arms crossed. "Your still not over that?" I said in a baffling tone. "Ugh omg do you guys ever not fight." Evie said rolling her eyes walking towards us hugging me and Jason tightly. "I'm gonna miss you both sooo much!" Evie said in a sad tone. "We're gonna miss you too, but im soo proud of you for getting out of this town and going off to collage." I said while shaking her shoulders to cheer her up and excites her. "I knowww im soo exited for collage!" She said with a big smile. "I've been waiting for this moment for ever." She said in a desperate tone while we walked to her room.

There were clothes everywhere on the floor, her desk, her bed, in bags, just all over the place. "Jesus fucking christ this place is a mess." Jason said in a shocking tone while giggling.
"Uhhh i know." Evie said sitting in her bed covering her face with her hands from embarrassment. "I don't know what to do with all my clothes and what do i take, what do i leaveee, i neeed help!" She said is a panicked tone. Jason just laughed and i hit him on the arm and he rubbed his arm where i hit him making an ow face. "It's gonna be ok we'll help you." i said comforting Evie.
"But seriously this place is a fucking mess, can you go to the closet in the hall grabbing some bags?" I said to Jason.
"Wow so you can say this place is a mess but i cant!? your fucking complicated." He said baffled but i just rolled my eyes and started to clean stuff up while Evie grabbed the things she wanted to take to collage.

*Later*
After me and Jason finished helping Evie get her shit together, she took all the boxes and put them in the back of her moms car for when they go off to the collage Evie wanted to go to. The Collage Evie wanted to attend was more than 13 hours away so she and her mom would be on the road for quite some time, so they decided to leave early. After they left i drove Jason to his apartment building that was less that five minutes from where i lived so i didn't mind. When i got home it was still pretty early and since i finished all the work that Kaylee assigned me and Jed to work on i had nothing to do.

When i walked inside my apartment the air felt a little cold which i found unusual because i leave my ac turned off during the day. When i walked into the living room i saw my balcony door open i quickly went to close and lock it finding it strange that my door was open considering i hadn't went out to my balcony in a while. I normally over think these things but i tried to shrug it off but there was a feeling in my stomach i couldn't ignore. As soon as i locked the balcony door my phone started to ring.

My head spun in the direction of ringing, the ringing wasn't coming from my phone but my from my land line that was next to my couch. I walk to the phone picking it up and holding the phone to my ear i waited a second  to see if anyone on the other would say anything but instead there was just silence. "Hello?" i asked confused. I didn't get an answer back just some slightly heavy breathing. "I think you dialed the wrong number, good bye." as i was about to hang up i heard an animated voice say "wait, don't hang up yet." I don't know why but i just had to pick up the phone again. "Can i help you?" I asked in a concerned tone. The entire situation from me walking into my apartment to answering this random phone call has me on edge. "I don't know can you help me, doll~?" This random voice that sounded like it could have been from a male phone took a pause in there sentence before saying doll, But from the way this guy said doll made me feel sick so instead of answering their questions i just quickly said. "Nope not today." And i hung up the phone.
